Okay so, I've been playing since day 1 and my 1st char was a Hunter, however soon after I made a Warlock and then another one and then deleted my Hunter for a 3rd Warlock lots of time passed and then 2 weeks into TDB I made myself a Hunter again. But I really can't choose which one I should use as my main character, and just using both would be annoying because of all the weapons I'd have to switch over. So I was hoping that maybe some of you guys could help me pick by giving a convincing argument on which I should pick.
Edit: Okay some people misunderstood. I have all 3 classes at 34 with everything maxed out except for Defender Titan because I didn't want to max that out for a 2nd time as I don't enjoy playing Titans.
Edit 2: Please give me some good reasons

1 RispondiHere's the Grimoire for the Bladedancer Hunter. I will add nothing to it; it speaks eloquently for itself: There's something to be said for the blade. A knife won't jam. A knife won't run dry. A knife is very, very quiet. Leave the noise and fire to others. There's work to be done, out there in the dark - monsters that deserve death, delivered quickly, silently, and without mercy.

I'd go hunter invisibility is good all around for any pve activities and both subclasses are great in pvp but really it's whatever you have the most fun with.

3 RisposteIt would not be a hard choice for me. I would choose Hunter hands down. Warlock is too soft in my opinion, and the only thing a warlock is good for is it's self Rez in my humble opinion. I've been playing since day 1 as well, warlock was the last character I made and glad it was my last. Hunter is the pinnacle with weaponry (Chain of woe and trance) , and many feel as if the hunter isn't a team player, but I see that FAR from the truth. The hunter is the person that is assigned to revive, and as we all know dismantles mines and gets to places quicker than any other character. Also look towards the near future with Its void subclass. The hunter will be even more useful in a team oriented strike or raid. Said my peace. I would also encourage you to keep at it with your Titan. You said u haven't leveled up your defender subclass. Level that up, and I think the Titan will become appreciated much more.

1 RispondiI can't tell you how to play Destiny. However if you are looking to increase your Grimore score once Taken King drops you'll probably need one of each character. This would also apply if you want to unlock all three of the new subclasses. The random drops also seem to favor players with one of each class unless you plan on breaking down weapons and armor you can't use for materials.

I love both. Titan is my least favorite

4 RisposteModificato da BadgermanPrime: 7/9/2015 11:41:51 AMNot sure why you need to define one as your "main" why not just play with whichever one you feel like at the time? Swapping weapons over really isn't much hassle now with the app. If you're put off by that then at the end of each session dump all your most used weapons in the vault so you can just grab them with whoever you login as next time. Chances are you'll be going to the reef/tower first anyway

1 RispondiI've always loved the "all powerful" style of play with warlocks. You feel like a force to be reckoned with even if you have less armor

Seems like someone can't make up their mind.

3 RisposteI would say Hunter. As biased as I am the Hunter is a game changer no matter what people say. I main a hunter and once you master it you can be a solo player or a straight team player as well. Invisibility is great for reviving and getting you and your team out of a bad situation. Gunslinger is so much fun and is great for boss fights or taking out high level or important enemies. The new subclass will also be great but I cannot say much about it yet. All in all the hunter is great but you will have to master it as it is the class that takes the most skill to master. You cannot tank but your speed makes you a hard target. It has the best jump, for me at least, and with the bones of eao well that explains itself. The Hunter is great and can do anything but you must master it. If you do not want to take the time to do so, then the hunter is not for you and you will not bring the full abilities of a hunter to the table. I hope this helped my friend. But remember, all classes are great in their own regard!

I have all three characters and I have definitely enjoyed the hunter more than any class running so fast jumping so quick it's the perfect class for offensive defense

1 RispondiModificato da Doc SoCal: 7/8/2015 6:34:19 PMI honestly don't know why everyone does not play all three classes. All this racing to nowhere instead of just enjoying the WHOLE game. It makes laughing at all the petty class warfare clowns extra fun too. #differentstrokesiguess

For disclosure, I run two hunters. I'd say they're equally viable in general Crucible, since both have access to blink. Self-res is nice for Trials, but I've found invisibility has its uses, too (and you lose blink to get self-res). For PvE, self-res is nice if you die a lot, especially in hard-mode raids. If you don't, invisibility is fantastic for reviving others, disarming nodes, or generally just positioning yourself/recovering. Gunslinger with the Celestial Nighthawk can devastate critical targets (elite wizards in arc burn, for example). I personally find the hunter more useful, but I'm very happy to have teammates running self-res so I don't have to worry about them dying.

The first one you created is your main. Simple as that.
