A bit tactless of bungie to say that 7/7 is destiny day or bungie day or whatever they're calling it, when it's a day that was wrought with terror for Londoners. I doubt people would appreciate it if they called 9/11 bungie day just because they happened to release their game that day (I know they didn't). But still it's the principal of the matter

It's also the anniversary of many peoples wedding day. Weird how there's a finite number of dates right?
-
So if someone's birthday or wedding anniversary falls on that day, they should not celebrate it because something bad happened elsewhere? Looks like most replies are similar to this.
-
Yes they do and they are celebrating that tragedy in a different way... Emblem for Bungie day... Over charging people in England for the new expansion....

2 RisposteWhat the Fûck is bungies gift to us?
-
3 RisposteYour an idiot. You can pick any day and find something horrible that happened. This is the day they released their first game and that's what they are celebrating.
-
bungie day was created before the bombings.
-
4 RisposteYou realize that in the history of mankind, I can associate any day with a tragic event correct? The London bombings were a horrible and tragic event in history. But that doesn't mean they did it on purpose, or to sound insesnitive. Unless they start adding days to the calendar, we will never be able to celebrate anything without offending someone.

Modificato da lordvikagaming: 7/7/2015 3:14:11 PMYou do realize that there are tons of companies that choose any date they like and use it as whatever they want. Even the Catholic church did it for Christmas. You do know Jesus wasn't born on December 25, and that it is actually a wiccian holiday, but to try and surpress any belief in anything other then what the Catholic church deemed correct they made it into one of their holidays. So does that mean it is wrong to celebrate Christmas?

Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn. Once terrorists blow up Big Ben, London bridge or another place that represents The U'K's power in a large manner, than you can bitch.
-
America only knows 9/11. And D day. And apparently bungie day.
-
I cant wait till 9/11 n im gonna make a fuss about how it doesnt matter cos something else happened on that day, I was there on 7/7, n all the posts on 9/11 will b ignored by me
-
Something crappy happened to someone on any date. Someone is being tortured, murdered, -blam!-, RIGHT NOW and you are so callous to post on web forums while this is happening. #ohbruther
-
Honestly had no clue 7/7 London was bombed
-
You must be new. If you weren't you would know Bungie has a fetish for the number 7, hence 7/7 being Bungie day. But that doesn't make sense. Obviously Bungie did the London bombings
-
4 RisposteSo I was born on 6-6. Does that make me the devil? STHU!!!!!!
-
2 RisposteWe're still working on teaching my fellow Americans that our country was not founded in year 0.. just search twitter and see how many people said "happy 2015th birthday America" on independence day. So no, we Americans are generally not aware that 7/7 marks a London bombing day.
-
Horrible point. Horrible.
-
Someone was -blam!- on your birthday, many more have been murdered.....we should cancel your birthday
-
I'm from the UK and I think your point is stupid... Bungie isn't even based in the UK and they have literally nothing to do with each other.
-
You pick a date, I'll find a historically significant event that happened on that day
-
2 RisposteHalo 2 came out on the anniversary of the Kristallnacht.
-
Why do you think we are celebrating? ;D
inb4h8
-
Who gives a shit?

Modificato da Saundy: 7/7/2015 2:58:53 PMIf there was a terrible tragedy that happened everyday of the year, would they call of all holidays forever, birthdays, and celebrations because it's matter of principle?
-
I'm born in February 4th and I hate February, I can't just change my birthday because it's a bad date
-
What's the big gift from bungie?
