So very tired of the lag, it's all too real. Especially when I am not being awarded almost 50% of my kills because the hitscan happens too late. A full clip of a shot gun, having to reload red death in a one on one or watching your opponent eat rockets for lunch because he is not actually where your screen tells you he is.
Can't you just repurpose some from the old halo days or from activisions COD?
Edit: woo! Already my most productive post :)

Just looking for as many places as I can to throw in my 2 cents for Bungie. IB was busted mostly this week with entire teams going red bar while my team was green. ToO was about as bad between being DDOS'ed and then hitting players with Matador 64 3x's and a warlock melee and I die. If there are any thoughts of taking Destiny PvP pro, which I am sure there are, Bungie will have to find a way to deal with connection tampering and general inconsistencies in the game play.

1 RispondiSomething tells me you dont know what dedicated servers are. What you are asking for is actually a undedicated server. A dedicated server is something players run as temporary servers, only lasting and staying online so long as they are also.

1 RispondiName one Activision game that has dedicated PvP servers. NONE.
-
Seriously the fact that 90 percent of my melee kills are postmortem should show that
-
If it solved the lag I would be all for it. Yesterday I shot a Hunter after his super ended and my shots showed up as IMMUNE?! I had to take a video of it because wtf
-
Why would Activision invest the money necessary for dedicated servers when they have plenty of fanboys who will pay without them? It's never going to happen.
-
Bump. Don't even need to read, just saw the title and BUMP

3 RisposteModificato da KurtPanzerNader: 7/6/2015 3:12:55 PMMove to a colocation center where the game serves are located. Stop complaining. It's your local DSL or cable provider. Have you consider maybe it's time for them to upgrade their electronics or fibre network. Here is a solution for you. Sign up for business dedicated IP fibre account.

1 RispondiI want a dedicated gf but we can't have everything that we want
-
5 RisposteLol what I hate most is
Postmortem+melee kill
I mean, how is that even possible? Even in a game with space magic, there are some things only possible due to lag.
-
Git gud scrub
-
3 RisposteDamn, you PvP players already got a whole DLC to yourselves.. You want a blanket and cookies as well?

4 RisposteModificato da denjoga: 7/6/2015 7:52:34 PMBF4 has dedicated servers and I quit that game because of the constant, miserable lag. It had all the same problems the Crucible does but much worse. The real problem was that regional servers were regional in name only, anyone from anywhere can play in any server. Even with their rented servers, they refused to implement any region and/or ping filtering. Doesn't matter what kind of server you're playing on, if the game has to try to sync players from opposite ends of the world, it's just not going to work. Ping and/or region filtering is the only thing that will even make a dent in the lag problem, and the devs (or, more probably, the publishers) don't want to risk alienating any part of their player base. BF4 didn't even have servers labeled for South America, who were the worst offenders in any of the available regions (US, EU, AUS and Asia). There were Japanese players intentionally playing out of region in US servers for the advantage, but with no South American servers, where the hell were the Brazilians supposed to play? After several years of online PVP experience, with the "netcode" only getting worse with each new generation, I've given up on PVP, which is why I'm now playing Destiny's PVE instead of BF4's shit-show or any other PVP for that matter. Was excited to hear that SW: Battlefront will have co-op and bots, because you can be damn sure that the 40 player PVP will just be another miserable lagfest. edit: BTW - the people who reply to complaints about lag saying they don't experience it and telling everyone to get good and/or get better internet are ALWAYS the ones who lag the worst.
-
Not going to ever happen this game will not get dedicated servers for pvp any time soon if ever. Plus dedi's do not remove or stop lag ever.
-
2 RisposteThat will available for a small fee of 59.99 a month, dedicated servers will need to be rented, at least that way you can dictate your rules and what weapons are allowed, much like battlefield private servers. Can't wait. :throws money at screen:

1 RispondiAnd the rest of us want a compelling story but we ain't -blam!-en getting it are we!
-
Im good never lag or get lag out. 500 mbps and 500 down from verizon.
-
Yeah... Playing Destiny PvP sometimes takes me way back to the shotgun and melee kill trades in Halo 3. I'd hope that things would have improved since then.
-
And I want a million dollars......buts that never going to happend
-
3 RisposteKeep it going guys, maybe they will finally do something about the lag issues in their competitive games. You can't have half a game that sucks due to lag, they have dedis for PvE. We want them for PvP too!
-
Modificato da DMV Knox: 7/6/2015 7:36:14 PMThe lag is real. We r luckty if we get 3 games in a row with no lag. How sad. I lost a teammate in trials because I used bladedancer on 2 titans and didnt kill them due to lag and he thought I totally suck and left.
-
Modificato da iMoto Bro: 7/6/2015 7:36:20 PMMake that dedicated servers for ALL matchmaking in Destiny, not just Crucible.
-
-
I would like to see these clips. Since they happen so frequently, it wouldnt be hard to capture a few of these moments.
i suspect its mainly your internet and your skill level that causes you pvp grief
1 RispondiDestiny is by far the laggiest game I've ever played. No other game compares in faulty connections and terrible servers
