He drowned while zip lining. I don't know what will happen now. I don't know if he will sink into depression, break off from society, or kill himself, but I will try my best to help him.
Now bear in mind I have never met this young man but I believe he was a nice person. He didn't deserve to die. If my brother died, I would feel the same as my friend. I can't do this alone. I want you guys to say how he can get through this, how to encourage him to stay who he is; a happy, funny guy.
I'll show this to him, and he will see their is a whole community of people behind my back, trying to help him.

Honestly I have no idea. I haven't experienced loss like that yet. I have a twin brother and I don't know what I'd do if I lost him.

1 RispondiTo this grieving man. I just want to say it will get better. It won't be easy but you will heal enough to continue with life. When I was 8 I caught my brother trying to hang himself from a tree in the backyard. I quickly ran to my parents who were inside and they came out stopped him, and took him to the hospital. The next day I was going to go with my mom back to the hospital to see my brother and dad only to find out my dad died only hours earlier. I was so numb and depressed that I couldn't remember anything for the next 8 months until my mother got a call that my brother had been rayped. On top of this we had to deal with my sister who was addicted to drugs and my stepfather who did not seem to care that any of this had happened. My other sister I have no idea where she was at the time. Dubai, I think? I don't know. But even through all of this life has gotten better. I regained my will to go on and now love life again. No matter how much pain you're in just know it will pass. It will pass. And please do not make the mistake I did by closing yourself off from the world and refusing mental help. Please, if you need it ask someone for help or go see a psychologist.

5 Risposte
I don't know if he will sink into depression, break off from society,
Is this suppose to be a pun?

3 RisposteI don't really know man. My last living grandparent was buried 6 days ago. I was a pallbearer for her. The nicest woman I have ever known is gone now. And I was upset during the funeral. But then I just went numb after. I don't even feel anything anymore. It's weird. I just shut down and feel nothing. Everyone's different man.

Modificato da OhtheHugeManity: 7/29/2015 12:23:32 PMSee the thing is we don't know this man... What's the use in a bunch of random strangers giving you complements if you don't even know they're reliable, and they don't know you're reliable. So showing him a bunch of random people with nothing to do with his life ain't gonna help squat. That's if you're legit right now. And if you're doing this just for attention then for shame bro.

Thats honestly quite impressive to drown while zip lining. Could you elaborate on how that could happen?
-
I'm sorry

That sucks..my sister attempted suicide not to long ago..
-
Please allow me to extend my sincerest condolences.

8 RisposteOh no, a family member died, he should probably kill himself to save him from despair.

11 RisposteI'd be pretty apathetic if mine died

Just be there for him. Everyone goes through grief different when they lose someone close. When I lost my grandmother (more like a mom) I had a lot of people show support and I knew I could fall back on that. That's what your friend will need and even if you don't see it trust me it will mean a lot to your friend.
-
Your friend, I mean.
-
How does someone drown while ziplining? Isn't ziplining where you're up in the air zipping across a line at least a couple feet away from any water that you might drown in?

My regards.

The most important thing is to be there for your friend when he needs it. Don't press the matter, as he may not want to talk about it. But if he's ever not himself, just give him a pat on the back. Don't ask him how he feels or if he misses his brother. He may not be comfortable with that. Let him know that you'll be there if he needs it.
