I can't stand this shit anymore
I played a lot of IB and Cruicible in the last few days.And by no means I'm not the best player but I can pull out a 15 streak fairly easy.In COD I hold a 3 KD and the guns are (even thoe there are Op guns like ACR/MP7 aswell) more balanced than in this game.Everybody uses the -blam!-ing thorn and people get mad when people complain about this topic.The gun is OP and everyone who defends it is either one of those noobs playing the thorn all day long or just a fully retarded idiot.If you try to be "funny" you'll get muted so just write constructive criticism or gtfo.

I agree with the amount of people using Thorn, its ridiculous, usually 4-5 out of 6 on opposite team are using it. Found red Death is a good counter though with red Death perk, give it a try

Try starting each game with an Auto rifle and fusion. Sometimes matchmaking will pair you up with similar enemies. I've gotten a lot of games without thorn or handcannons. Worth a try.

I pretty much quit crucible altogether after the last fusion rifle nerf. The only guns people use anymore are Thorn, TLW and shotguns with ridiculous range. PvP is broken in this game and Bungie has made it to where you can only use those couple of guns and compete. Bungie's "weapon balancing" is nonsensical and moronic, and has ruined the game. Even worse, the nerfs for PvP have ruined those guns in PvE as well.

Just to be clear ppl screamed for thorn to get a buff. But I honestly believe that the OG thorn was good. Now everyone thinks it's op. But it's been killing ppl with 2 head shots forever. Imo giving the thorn 9 rounds was the mistake.

2 RisposteThe Crucible is just an unbalanced mess. We have people who abuse glitches like before with the hunter web grenade granting a full super. We have dicks that run around doing blink shotgun all day with shotguns with incredibly stupid range. We have straight broken guns like Thorn that has one of the best fire rates for a Handcannon with a high DoT in Crucible. The one hit kill garbage all day with certain grenades like trip mine, flux, and so on. The Meta for PvP has been screwed up since the last "weapon balance" patch. I've not seen many people run ARs or Fusion rifles anymore either. I think out of all my games in Iron Banner this week to rank to 5 I've only seen two people use an AR one being Suros Regime and the other Abyss Defiant. Could have been more, but I didn't die to them. Also not a single Fusion rifle. The Thorn is just a louder and more in your face problem on a stack of other problems is my point. Blink shotguns need a look at and something to stop this like they did wallbang snipers.

if they would just un-nerf auto rifles, they would be taking a step in the right direction for balancing. Seriously, how do you justify making pulse rifles more powerful than auto rifles? You can two shot with any pulse rifle, but it takes half a clip to kill someone with the exotic auto rifles? REALLY?

1 RispondiI started using thorn because i stood no chance against everything else. ARs blow, why would i equip a weapon that hits softer than marshmallows!?!?!?!? Pulse rifles are ok but with the number of thorns how would it be any fair on me?!?!? It's great to say that a weapon is over powered, it would be even better if you gave examples of alternatives or possible ways of how the weapon could be balanced!

I agree with you but I think if they were going to fix it it would have been done by now. I have heard they are going to fix the range on both the thorn and TLW so you can't get sniped with it and I can agree with that because that's honestly what is wrong with the guns, just the range nothing else

The best way to get the op weapons balanced would be to use them all the time. Bungie already showed they nerf most used weapon when they nerfed autos.

I used the Thorn on my titan, last word on my hunter and hawkmoon on my warlock, why? because atm they are -blam!-ing effective as -blam!-. Would I like to use other weapons such as Auto rifle, pulse rifle and scout rifle? yes I do but atm they aren't as effective as hand cannons and until Bungie decides to get off their lazy ass and do something about the balance in this game then I will continue to use them. It would just be retarded to go into the iron banner at a disadvantage especially when you are trying to get rank 5 on all 3 classes as fast as possible to get the shit over and done with.
