Uh... Bungie? What happened to banning cheaters from Trials?

When I saw this, I was inspired to try playing Trials again. However, there was no reason to even pick up my controller and set the destination for it. Why? Because people are ridiculous. I've played several rounds of Trials of Osiris in attempts to go flawless this week, and each and every time the enemy team just so happens to be one barring, which somehow makes them able to take 13 Hawkmoon shots and not die, and instantly revive their teammates. I've seen a Self-ressed warlock take 8 melees and take no damage because he was one barring. And what kills me is that, once they start winning, suddenly their connection is just fine. I invited one to the party and asked him how he does the lag bullshit, and [b]he said it was a program and that it was "nothing personal" but he and his team need to go flawless. And don't even get me started on the people who ip boot players from lobbies so they win. [/b]
[b][u] [i]Bungie, this is ridiculous. There is no point to even playing Trials when you have people doing this shit.[/i][/b][/u]

7 RisposteHow are they doing this? Titan fist of havoc..... Missed me, so he then IMMEDIATELY just did it again, same Titan.( has happened about 4 times to me this IB. War locked self - revived after I used melee to kill him, and then hit me with a void bomb super, right before my very eyes. I've seen thorn being fired at the rate of the last word. This has happened a lot How the hell are these people manipulating the system and making this happen?

I was 8-0 and got ddosed, which counted as a loss even with Mercy that wasn't used yet. Probably never gonna do it again after that. I got my Lighthouse grimoire card so there's no point anymore.

I find it's more along the lines of not having dedicated servers. I've run into some major lag before thinking that they were lagswitching, turns out I was wrong

Anyone say lag programs can't be patched, look at metal gear online, patched lag program, by auto disconnect the second you activate it, but wired lagswitch barely last 2 seconds or 3 if you are lucky.

6 RisposteWent flawless every week and never encountered one, neither did anyone from my raid group. That's 9 people going flawless 3 times a week and never facing one, There are barely any cheaters, its just an excuse for most people.

Works fine for me all the time, never seen any bad lag, maybe it's you.

They did ban cheaters but you can seriously expect the game mode to be free of cheaters.

3 RisposteNo one seems to have mentioned this but I wonder if players are reporting these people for cheating. That's our best option right now. Bungie can detect when players leave a match before it starts (which is how players were getting banned), but detecting lag switchers is a lot harder apparently.

Got our first lost to lag-switchers yesterday. Thank goodness we had the Mercy on. My fireteam reported each one for bad connection and cheating.

I've watched all of the PR that they spit out and have noticed that it's always along the same theme as if it's become a workable excuse for them: "Hey guys, we know that there are some balancing issues, but we'll get to them after TTK is released. "Hey guys, we heard you were livid about the grind that TDB created but we couldn't bother to fix it until after we sold you HoW." The ONLY time I've seen this bunch be proactive about fixing an issue is when a bazzillion people on Reddit swore to not buy their next DLC because they felt ripped off buy the comments from "Luke". Seriously; it's the ONLY time they decided to put out a fire as opposed to letting it burn itself out over months. That's a corporation if I ever saw one, lol.

They get a tiny slap on the wrist and go right back to cheating even when there's clear proof. Bungie doesn't care, the cheaters playing makes the game look better to the investors.

I play in Australia and am frequently playing games where everyone is red barring. I hope u realise it's the destiny servers, because any activity you play you will experience lag at some point, or do you think Crota is using a program to make you lag meaning he can instantly get up? Grow up, stop being a whiny shi[b]t[/b] and either improve your pvp skill, or stop playing destiny and fin a new game so we don't have to deal with your shit

They can't ban them unless there reported also it may have been there first time in trials doing it. If yiureported them they can kiss the light house goodbye.

It was this week. then there was another laggy team, who beat us, cause we couldnt hit them.. I wrote him, he answered and told me i was red bar... I believed him... Sooo the point is... Maybe its not lagswitching all the time you cant hit one..

8 RisposteI'm quite good in PVP and have gone flawless before, HOWEVER, today, I couldn't even get 4(!) wins without facing lag switchers. After 7 hours today of getting matched up against lag switchers, I was literally fed up. This is getting worse for each and every week. Fuc.k you cheaters!

1 RispondiFrom what I see on the forums, they can't ban the cheats or they would lose 90% of the people that play trials. The rest of us have given up.

I'm not a huge PvP player, but this seems to be getting more common. I saw it a lot more in IB this week than ever before. Which is ridiculous, since in IB it barely matters whether you win or lose...you'll rank up eventually, so there is no need to cheat.
