Change the spears starting magazine size to 5-6 in magazine to stop the abuse of final round.
Let field scout raise it to 7 rounds.
Player would have to waste a lot of shots before getting to final round.
This would fix trials a bit.
And a spear with 5 in magazine would be beautiful for pve.
Players will get to keep their final round but couldn't abuse it as much.
This wouldn't affect a skilled sniper that likes headshots.
Win win situation.

Great. Now snipers can have basically unlimited shots. This gives them enough to spam or body shot your whole team before reloading. No thanks. Just remove final round.

If they got 7 shots in the mag, they'd still have 2 final rounds without picking up ammo. They start with 7 in the mag and ~5 in reserve. More ammo in the mag=more ammo in reserve.

Snipers carry a max amount of 6 shots per mag. Field scout doesn't increase it. Clown cartridge does; though.

9 RisposteNot sure how it fixes anything. It is just as easy to fire off 4 or 5 shots as it is to fire off 2. If anything it makes a larger threat cause the snipers have more ammo to use.

The old snipers had a lot of ammo perks. Anyone using final round just for one kill is wasting headshots.

3 RisposteThat's a good idea. Takes a lot longer and most of the time it is used for a quick kill and push with 5-6 in the mag you couldn't do that easily

Or change the perk to luck in the chamber so they can't deliberately abuse the lucky bullet

1 RispondiReplace all final round snipers with a perk where if you get a kill with the final round it adds 1 round to your magazine.

....final round changed to "prone position" If you have this perk, your crouch now makes you go prone. Eliminates 1hk body shots and gives awesome snipers an amazing skill. Scrubs will still miss their headshots

This is actually a very good point, but the removed field scout and final round on all HOW snipers, but good point non the less

8 RisposteThe problem is still the same. Emptying four rounds instead of two isn't that much harder. It's the damage of the spear that's the problem.
