Trials of Osiris.. We're getting ripped off..
Allow me to put this in the most simple terms possible so that the trolls might be able to understand...
There are many players that have no real shot at ever getting a 9-0 streak in the trials..
With that said .. Those people that PAID just as much for the content as everyone else should have access to that content..
In essence we are NOT getting what WE PAID FOR..
EDIT.. All of you that posted offensive comments were reported and muted.. your comments were unwarrented and rather dull anyway...
Those of you that did comment with sensable and valid points I thank you for your input...
One of you did make the comment that with the LAG and the vast amount of lagswitchers/cheaters it does indeed cheat me from the content that I have paid for... Therefore I am being ripped off......
Edit 7/5/15... DUE TO THE CURRANT LAG AND THE SHEER AMOUNT OF LAG/SWITCHERS AND CHEATERS IN THE TRIALS THE THOUGHT THAT I AND MANY OTHERS ARE BEING RIPPED OFF....
THOSE OF YOU THAT HAVE POSTED NOTHING INTELLIGENT SHOULD STAY OFF THESE FORUMS...
(i.e. "get gd scrub) is NOT an intelligent response... odds are I could decimate many of you in the crucibles..... The FACT is that I allow my GRANDCHILDREN and Children to play on my account so MY currant K/D means nothing compared to my actual skill.... you trolls that seem to hold your K/D;s as "sacred" should step outside and maybe get some sunlight once in awhile
edit....One final word for the trolls... The Term.. "SCRUB" was originally slang for those in PVP games that either used crutch weapons or blatantly cheated... learn the terminology before you use it... you are only making yourselves look uneducated...
Final Edit.. I have had to resort to reporting over 60 replies due to their blatantly disrespectful comments.... it truly is a shame that so many of you are rather immature..

Budgie didn't take anything away from you. You're just not skilled enough to get to the end game content. That's like saying just cause you can't beat a hard crota means that they ripped you off. It doesn't make sense. If you want to get to 9-0 then work and train to improve your skills and if you still can't get it then just break your disc in half and go outside

Bungie are not keeping content away from anyone! I was in the same boat and found it hard to go flawless with another two good players until I found a thread on this forum where a nice guy was offering to help/carry players through and get flawless, I took a chance and messaged him, he does it always with a known +1 of his that is also very good at PvP I've since been to the lighthouse 6 times with him, only on rare occasions there has been lag... So I can't really say if people are cheating in trials from my experience.... More to do with your post I know how you feel but what if a certain game had a really hard level and you couldn't complete it to get the awards? Would the developers be keeping game content away from you that you paid for? Just go to twitch on weekends under destiny and majority of the players will help you through, just message them on their feed.

Just like everything else in Destiny, you have to play to earn it. The description of each Adept weapon clearly states only the champions of the Trials have a chance to own them. Become a champion or don't.

[b]To Bad[/b] When I was a child I couldn't get into the Rep football team but I didn't complain about not getting in I knew I had to try harder and push myself so 2 years later I got in and it was a great feeling. I wasn't saying to my local club your ripping me off by not putting me in that team because they weren't I just wasn't good enough yet. Games have always had stuff locked behind skill walls, if you don't have the skill you don't get the stuff. Whether it's extra content or hard trophies blocking people from the platinum. They all paid the same. So in essence you paid for the HoW content and the chance to go 9-0 in trials if you're skilled enough, not for it to be handed to you.

I, for the most part, really enjoy trials. It taught me how to be a better crucible player. I am way better then I was the first week. It felt really good to finally make it to lighthouse. The only thing that bugs me is the laggers can ruin your chance to get there. I don't mind losing to legit teams that beat us fair and square. They were better than us and deserve the win... Congrats. But last night we lost lighthouse because of a team that were lagging so bad. Taking a full clip of thorn and not dying, teleporting across the map, dying from bullets when the person isn't even facing you from across the room. Those games leave a bad taste in your mouth :( But otherwise I love trials and will be back in there tonight to try again :)

It's the same as how the mythoclast, necrochasm and etc is 'locked' behind having to overcome hard raids. You either overcome the challenge and get rewards, or you don't.

You don't see players posting on World of Warcraft forums because they can't get a gladiator mount from pvp which requires a very high rating in arena (pvp) because they pay $15/month. Why? Because you have to earn it, put the time in to get better. There are things in a lot of pvp oriented games where only those who are good enough or put the time in get. Stop acting like you should just be given everything because you payed for a game that you already have played 95% of it. Why don't you just make it so when I buy The Taken King that when I log in I have a the new exotics, and all the new exotic bounties completed and the new sub classes fully leveled. Since I payed for it I should already have everything right?

11 RisposteDude, it's a mode for the best of the best. THATS THE POINT. It would be irrelevant if all the players would be rewarded. Very few would try. Trials of Osiris pushes us all to be better.

I believe the number a few months ago was that only 19% of Destiny players had completed the raid. You paid for the ability to participate in Trials. Not be given the weapons and gear.

I have never once encountered a "lag switcher" in trials and have encountered some la but not making it unplayable and never to the extent i have seen in some videos. that being said i can understand peoples frustrations with the game mode it is tough, plain and simple. I think a skill based math making system would really help people.
