The hopscotch pilgrim - rarest gun in the game
So there's this gun called the hopscotch pilgrim which is only obtainable through vanguard dragon. It's a pulse rifle with messenger type damage but with less range, more stability and more magazine. I've seen it in crucible but it seems impossible to get.... over the past few days I've ranked up my cryptarch 15 times from playing the strikes and have only seen one drop, but not for me. Have any of you guys gotten this beast?
Edit: If you have it did you get it from 28 prision or dragon strikes?
Edit 2: A second hawkmoon just dropped from the strikes in the past 2 days, still no hopscotch for me
Edit 3: Still no hopscotch, saw another drop but not for me. When i say grinding I mean 5-8 hours a day
Edit 4: And I just got a plan c, great, that makes 3 exotics, no hopscotch

Both of mine were from dragon strikes. About 2 weeks apart. Very lucky indeed. Not go mention perfect rolls on both of them!!! Titan and Warlock

Why is this such a coveted gun? I got it, don't remember from where, but I don't like it. The fire rate is too low for my tastes.

3 RisposteI literally just got Hopscotch today after 2 months of grinding for it. Couple of points. First, it's good, but it's not going to make a bad player good. I prefer the Messenger. However, the fact that you can reroll it makes it a really good option for a lot of people. There are other pulse rifles that are really good too. The Constellation Scar is also awesome and I don't see a lot of people talking about it.

I have neither of these weapons, so I'm like piss on them both (both hopscotch and messenger), because the second ttk drops, they'll be useless! For me these guns Will. Not. Drop. Or I can't do enough trials for one reason or another, so piss on them. Anyway, what new weapon line up are you are you waiting for?

4-8 hrs a day nearly every day for a month, no hopscotch for me

I broke mine down. It serves no purpose to me.

The rolls for it are godly no matter what. All you need is Braced Frame and your favorite scope/sights, and you can customize you perks. Why people choose reactive reload is beyond my understanding. 2burst kill + reactive reload damage bonus =/= 1burst
