If it makes you feel better - I don't have gally - only one elemental primary (oversoul edict) - no hunger of crota - just got black hammer -I'm just hitting about 144 hours of playtime and I'm a day one player

1 RispondiMy drop and my last was almost 2100 hours. I have friends that are passing 1800 and 2000 hours with over 300 raid wins and no Gally. Destiny is nothing but gambling. You would probably have a better chance of scratching a scatch off and winning a couple thousand than the pathetic rng system in Destiny

Modificato da U Got Sarged: 7/9/2015 2:27:02 AMHey Bro, please read. This may help you understand a bit. You cannot earn weapons in destiny, the only way you earn a weapon is by buying it from a faction vendor, Xūr, iron banner, trials, Variks, queens wraith, and the gun smith. Reason being is because you buy the weapon and you know what your getting. Things from engrams and loot table rewards are based off of a completely random system, the RNG. The way RNG works is like throwing 100 dice. Each combination will give you a different item, but there's a catch, once you get an item from the RNG the chances of getting it again are higher. That's why some people who got their gally from RNG and not Xūr tend to have more than 1. You and myself are what are known as outliers . An outlier is like the chance for something like rolling 4 on a dice, you should role 4 between the first and sixth role because there's only 6 numbers. But sometimes the same number could keep being rolled and you might not role a 4 till 50 roles later. That means 4 was an outlier since although it should've already happened it didn't. I truly hope this helps give you some better understanding. Best of luck to you on getting the Gally!!! And also I noticed all the people on this forum who have one have decided to come here and brag about having there 7th one or some garbage like that. Don't even pay attention to that, it's because of the whole better chance after getting it thing.

ITS RNG GET OVER IT
-
My brother only been playing 80 hours and got his first last week on normal crota. Sucks to be you. I've got 5
-
Got mine at 1.5k hours total, keep trying. Try: normal THEN hard crota and VoG, nightfall, all prisons, and then do 28 prisons using keys it has a chance to drop from there. Good luck
-
You're a pigeon.
-
I'd give you my fourth one, but I dismantled it.
-
Same here! The struggle is real! Rng is bull
-
Welcome to RNG. Enjoy your stay.

2 RisposteI'd literally trade my 1 ghorn for 1 of each faction shader... So 1 ghorn for 3 shaders?
-
I'm sorry man, the gorgon chest and crota hard seem to have the highest drops for gally, try to bring those.
-
1 RispondiI feel you. I get tired of everyone calling us "whiners", yet, I've put in a lot of hard work, since Day 1, hundreds of hours, never gotten it as a drop, never seen anyone get it as a drop, while I was playing with them. But, I've seen every other weapon, gotten every other weapon, multiple, multiple, multiple times. Seems RNG is not so Random, or if it is so random, we must be the unluckiest bastards ever and yes, it sucks
-
I hope you get it soon honestly i havent used mine in ages.
-
Lol I have 2 gally. Idk how many hours I've played though

8 RisposteModificato da Valak Dhur: 7/2/2015 7:55:55 PMI played way over 1000 hours of World of Warcraft. Don't see me bitchin on the forums because I don't have [Thunderfury Blessed Blade of the Windseeker]

Solution: Crota's Hunger (until you get gjally) (Plus, you're saving the exotic slot for something else too) BOOM.
-
Your so close to 1000 hours. Only about 160 more hours to go. I didn't get my first Gjallarhorn until the Dark Below dropped.
-
It took me 4 months after release to get a Gally. I still don't have a vex or fate and really I don't care. I enjoy the game and if I happen to get one so be it but I'm not going to rant about it. If you want a Gally play either Crotas End on Hard and try to get the most kills or play the Will of Crota strike and get the most kills and use only your legendary weapons.
-
You could theoretically never stop playing this game and never get a Gjallarhorn. If you never do the things needed to potentially get one, you will never get one. I am not going to bother looking at your tracker page because I don't care, but you can only get a Gjallarhorn through specific activities. The amount of hours played is only important when it is the amount of time needed to get to a high enough level to do the activities that can net you that specific gun. Kinda like fatebringer or the crux of crota or the vex and so on.
