Everyone who has stolen a Red Bull Code should be banned out the ass! So many people are breaking the law THE ACTUAL LAW and stealing from other players. I know people who got Red Bull codes, THAT HAD ALREADY BEEN USED!!! Destiny you need to BAN Anyone who has stolen a code.
Edit 1: If you say on this thread you are going to Hack codes, I am immediatly going to report you... Just sayin
Edit 2: To start banning, start with people who confess on the forums and who teach others how to do it.
Edit 3: Many people complain on how bungie is a corporate monster that deserves to be ripped off. I would just like to say they are! They dont need our money, they could just not make the taken king whatsoever.
Edit 4: This post has over 700 replies. Half of them are regarding to me being a crybaby or a moral vigilante. Well I dont care what you call me but I am doing the right thing. If you dont agree with me then you are supporting the robbers. Stealing is breaking the law.
Edit 5: Over 1000 replies when will bungie act!
Edit 6: I thought I said this but I hadnt. What bungie should do is suspend every person who stole codes on the forums. They should be suspended till the actual mission is free in january. First start off with those who admit to it and teach others how.
Completely agree it is actually stealing from someone else, and is not some in game glitch.
I posted this in the other thread, putting it here also:
You can do this if codes don't work from cans you have bought:
Take a pic of the can's label you have flipped. Also take pic of any receipt if you have.
Post the complaint to both Redbull and Bungie.
Include the pic as part of info.
This is what can happen:
Since Bungie keeps tracks of everything with a player's toon - FOCUSED LIGHT should not be a problem. It translates to numbers after all.
Should not be difficult to ID who misused your codes and deal with them appropriately.
Put this in your main post if you want for all to see.
1 RispondiNo purchase necessary. lol
-
And if you've recieved them from a giveaway or friend who then decides they want then back?
-
6 Rispostewell Bungie kinda screwed up when they prevented probably 80% of the fanbase from actually being able to buy the red bull can

9 RisposteModificato da Thicc Boi B: 7/3/2015 9:29:40 AMWhy are people stealing codes they're only 3 dollars. I also agree with you people who steal are assholes
-
Its rediculous that bungie dont even give us good storymissions or any other content, just half finished game at first place and then they rip us of with marketing tricks like this instead of focusing to important things
-
16 RisposteI'm right with you. I saw a thread that began with instructions on how to do it. At the time there were 95 replies stating " thanks" and "good looking out "and "it worked". I reported every last one of them. Got a ton of hate mail. Whatever. This is not a glitch. You are straight up stealing. If you can't spend 2 dollars then you have no business having internet or a playstation. I know this is how all these people are giving away hundreds of codes too. Scumbags
-
Everyone being little pussies and crying about everything should be banned also.
-
4 RisposteSome of the people giving away codes are legit. Others are giving away 'hacked' codes. People from other countries have to get given codes and they can't tell if they are 'hacked' or not. Also I personally would rather live in the US and pay $40 for TTK and have to buy 2 red bull cans cos 1 has been 'hacked' than live in the UK and have to pay $63 for TTK
-
But stealing is the law ,we take as much as we can grab
-
zzzzzzzzzzzZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ ....
-
Ooop butthurt
-
Daddy issues
-
Not really man coz some kind hearted folks are giving codes to others who may not be able to get one so it's very hard to actually prove who is legitimate and who isn't

3 RisposteModificato da What-UpWith-That: 7/2/2015 9:50:50 PMlmao reminds me of Doritos cod promotion. The XP though.

Modificato da LegendarySyn: 7/3/2015 9:40:43 AMNobody is going to get banned. There are so many threads and sites where people are giving away codes as a kind gesture towards those who don't live near a 7-11, that you'd never be able to tell who generated their own code vs. who got it from one of those helpful guardians. Any troll could pop in, give away their codes, and then turn around and say they bought a can with a used code, just to mess with people. BungieVision/Red Bull shot themselves in the foot when they let someone's kid make their code scheme on bring your kid to work day. The only hope they have is to change their code scheme on cans that haven't been stamped yet. Include A-Z and 0-9, but specifically exclude random codes from your printed runs. Still let those excluded codes be redeemed, but have them redeem a ban. The only people redeeming the excluded codes would be people obviously using generators. Generous guardians would still be able to give away legit codes. You wouldn't catch everyone generating codes, but once word got out that bans were happening, most wouldn't risk it.

Who needs codes where u have almost everything maxed out
-
I stopped reading after you mentioned hacking liquid
-
I've used about 5 codes and don't even live in the U.S.
-
And how are they going to ban those who have stolen codes and not confessed? There is no way of verifying that the user has brought the can it just typing in codes
-
2 RisposteAgree with you bro don't wrry. One day karma will bite them in the ass
-
How do you prove someone has stolen the code?
-
Lol Bungie won't even ban blatant cheaters in ToO. I'm sure they are going to listen to this
-
I find it sad that there are so many people in this community that are actually justifying literally stealing, breaking the law and causing a fellow gamer grief when the code on the cam that they bought doesn't work. It's really sad what our society is coming to. Stealing is stealing....and it's WRONG.
-
You're all pussies
-
2 RisposteFYI: This extra content from the codes (besides the Focused Light) is going to be free eventually, so there's no point in getting the codes anyway.
-
4 RisposteI am such a noob for asking this but what do the codes do?
