Relic holders?
So who can use the relic in VoG? I'm only wondering because I did vault on a friend's system.
He/I was level 34 with 5 other random 34's. We were at Templar(on hard) and they wanted me to not use relic since I had the only Gjallarhorn. So I asked 'Who knows how to use the relic?'
Dead silence. Then one said
'What's a relic?'
So now I'm wondering.....
How many can use the relic? Is it a dying art?

I can run relic for whole raid and sword on crota, not just Templar relic.

Can run relic with Hunter and warlock(titan is being upgraded) and can do sword with my warlock on hard.

1 RispondiCan run relic on my warlock and Titan with no issue. Some reason my Hunter has the most problems surviving, can be done just not perfect. Maybe due to its low armor stat. Sword I can do easy. The funny thing is that I learn sword by soloing Crota on normal, since I didn't want to bother/frustrate a full fireteam. Didn't want to waste there time.

I can use any relic, but when it comes to running sword I can only do it on my hunter.

Using any relic is my favorite part of this game. Especially gatekeeper on VoG hard. I actually wish the part where you have to defend the conflux with both relics was harder and lasted longer. So fun.

Expert with the Aegis Shield. Not so great with the Sword, though.

I can run Relic on VOG for the whole raid. Haven't even completed VOG very many times because I'm a dirty "casual" but no one wants to bother to learn. Usually someone wants to run sword on Crota so I don't bother but no one either knows how or wants to run relic on VOG anymore it seems.

Both here, first run through each I used them because I love a challenge. Didn't think I'd be one of the rare few who can use both or even one.

I can run relic in vog & sword in crota, normal or hard.. It's not a dying a art there's just more noobs now with HoW.

I remember picking up the relic at lvl 26 when the Vault meant something, now we just have lazy people who don't want to learn for themselves.

I can run sword and relic. I hate it when you have ONE tiny mess up and die, and all the people that can't survive 30 seconds with it say that you stink and get someone else... Then an hour later they ask you to do it again.

I can! I actually mastered the sword in crota, learned how to take him down in 2 runs on HM (before ogres), it's just much more fun using relics.
