IT COSTS A LOT OF GLIMMER TO GET THEM AND TIME TO FARM. I PERSONALLY SPEND ALL MY GLIMMER ON RE-ROLLING AND UPGRADING ITS VERY EXPENSIVE AND TIME CONSUMING TO GATHER WEAPON PARTS.

Bravo. If they're gonna sell planet materials then they can sell weapon parts. At least have an exchange for plasteel/sapphire/warlock shit and weapon parts. And as for everyone who is all pleased with themselves for having thousands of parts, whoop de fvckin doo. You have either played for 50 days, only use the same weapons always, don't reroll anything or just magically get great rolls every time. Hooray for you, now fvck off and leave us reroll addicts alone.

I know some will be in the same boat as me here, but Xur will no longer sell anything I want (aside from maybe even more heavy ammo, although I am already sitting on 400+). [b]Thus I propose that Xur sell weapons parts/class materials on a rotation in exchange for coins.[/b] They have simplified the economy/currency yes, but until they implement a sink for every easily obtainable 'currency' we will always amass loads of said currency until they either take it out or the next DLC where it will only dip for a few weeks for new items. There is a sink for glimmer, weapon parts, class materials, planetary materials, motes, marks but none for strange coins which are actually one of the currencies that you can be guaranteed to earn (marks and glimmer being the others). By giving a reason to spend our coins, we will have reason to do the weekly (i.e. play something). As it is, I am well on my way to 300 coins (I imagine some people will be over 500) and I'm not even trying to get them anymore and will never spend them until September. Thus it makes sense for Xur to take our coins for something fairly trivial that we want. Buying weapon parts/calss materials is not any more game breaking than being able to buy any other material. We still need to spend time to level the weapons/armour and it provides a much needed currency sink for coins.
