The Library.

Halo Reach's Exodus mission. Now, most of the mission wasn't hard. Until you hit the last checkpoint. First, you have the Ghosts. About 4 if you're unlucky, will converge on you right when you start. Then you've got to deal with the lack of cover. After you finally get rid of the little guys, you've got to get into this building. There's a lower level, and a higher level. In the higher level, there's a ridge and a big opening that you'll get sniped at from. The lower level consists of an outdoor path that wraps around the front wall. Your only cover is to go around the bends. Here, you will be bombarded by countless Brutes, including one or two that carry grenade launchers (don't remember the name.) Now, if you entered the lower level from the center, you're probably surrounded by brutes and now dead. If you entered from the right, you fought up a steep incline and ended up facing one of the two heroic brutes in the upper level. If you went from the left entry, you're going to have some small cover and you'll probably be able to wipe out the rest of the enemies. However, you should [i]NOT[/i] advance to the upper level yet. Why? You have two heroic brutes that are total bitches to fight. Both of them take over 15 shots from a grenade launcher to kill. First you want to lure out a brute holding a gravity hammer. You don't want to go [i]near[/i] the upper levels until he's dead. Next, you have the absolute ballsack that is the second brute. He happens to have this automatic grenade launcher that will one shot you if you're even [i]near[/i] the blast radius of his plasma shots. He's incredibly accurate with it, too. I don't have a specific strategy for beating him. You're lucky if you get him to get five feet out of that room he stays in, and he's the biggest -blam!-ing bullet sponge I've seen. If you're lucky enough to have [i]any[/i] grenades or grenade launcher ammo, use it on him. By the time I had him killed, there was literally [i]no ammo[/i] in the entire playing area, except for a plasma pistol. Keep in mind, this asshole can and [i]will[/i] one shot you if you get near him, or even far away from him. Even if he misses, you're probably dead. Oh, and there's one more hurdle you'll notice as soon as you start. The dozens of marines around you, [i]will not help. At all.[/i] I have yet to see one of those marines take a single shot. They ignore the covenant, and vice versa. You're doing this mission alone. And how do I know all this? I just, about a half hour ago, finally beat that [i]one[/i] checkpoint I spent [b]two and a half hours[/b] on. I consider myself an above average gamer, sure, I play for fun, but I'm not bad at games. But this -blam!-ing checkpoint, is outrageously difficult. 60 deaths. On one checkpoint. That is incredibly unlike me. Anyways, trust me, that shit is hard.

The damn Library on Halo 1 was brutal. Tons of little flood bastards practically one shotting you when they pop. I remember countless hours trying to hide down that slim hallway to try and sneak in a heal lol.

Gravemind Regret Two Betrayals Truth and Reconciliation Cairo Station Halo 3, ODST, and 4 are all relatively easy, so I didn't list any missions from those games.

I always hated the Halo 3 mission on gravemind

In no particular order Odst, level where you def the ONI base. At the end that hammer brute always ignored my useless npc teamate and went for me even before I finished off picking off all the adds outside. Did I forget to mention that at damage threshold it gets invulnerability? (Honorable mention to that gold hunter that just wouldn't die Halo the library due to a rocket launcher flood, most of it wasn't a problem if you stealthed most of it. (Git gud) Halo reach early on this one silver elite that outsmarted me more than once Halo 2 sniper alley until I realized if I hid Johnson would do all the work so ez. Halo wars that fukn scarab lvl [spoiler]I've been playing halo since I was little as my first game and before online function on halo 3 for me, I replayed campaigns a lot so most legendary stuff was a breeze in MCC. Gravemind, cortana, most of library ez[/spoiler]
