Am I the only one?
Am I the only one finding it harder and harder everyday to jump on Destiny and play? Right now I'm sitting in front of my t.v. and thinking to myself if it's worth it.
I have some PoEs that I need to get finished, I'd like to run trials, need the boots for all 3 of my guys. But I'm sitting here unmotivated to even bother with this game.
In the past I would've been like, damn I got lots to do and less time to do it in before reset. Not sure if it's because my friends aren't playing as much anymore or if it's this dlc/expansion bs with the pricing. I don't know but something has turned me off.
Are any of you guys feeling the same and if so why? Just looking for answers.
Thanks for the support guys and gals! I'll never get tired of the great people like you guys on this forum.

It's been about a week for me. I'm starting to put some time into the stack of games I was ignoring because of Destiny. It's doubtful I'll even download TTK at this point.

1 RispondiI haven't logged on in 2 weeks now. Every day, I think, "oh my god! I haven't done my nightfalls/raids/PoE/etc! I'm missing out!". But then when i get home and try to load it up, i end up watching a show or movie on Netflix, or i pick up the book I've been reading, or i end up doing something else. I still log in to the forums every day and i have TTK CE pre ordered. Is not that I'm done with Destiny but after putting in 20 hours or so a week since launch, i think my mind is just in need of a hiatus. I'm sure I'll jump back on in a week or so and go back to having fun, but right now, i just can't force myself to play it

Agreed. Didn't even do all the nightfalls this week. Did one in less than 15 min solo got an engram which ended uo giving me one mote.... What's the point. PoE is boring and trials is annoying. End game is pointless. Crappy weapons poor chances. Had all raid/exotic weapons and armour for all 3 classes from vog and crota. Can't collect cuz vault space so forget it. I'll play skirmish on occasion and have a life outside the game.

I'm in the same position. I can't force myself to play it as much as I used to. I bought ESO, and, as much as it gets abused, I really like it. I'm much more excited to play that more recently. Don't get me wrong, I do play Destiny still, just no where near as much

Some people don't get hooked into the grind. Take a break and play something else. You will feel refreshed when you come back.

The previous DLC did not inject enough life into the game and the next is too far away. Maybe take a break and play a different game and come back for the next DLC with a fresh perspective? I took a 3 month hiatus. After Destiny was much more fun. I reccomend witcher 3.

I just wish there was matchmaking for everything for times when my friends aren't on. A lot easier than lfg, posting in the forums or spamming messages.

I left destiny for about a month after it first came out I ran out of things to do and it wasn't until I found my clan that I actually got back into the game

If you feel that way you probably shouldn't be playing the game man. No one can really make you like it except you and if your not enjoying if anymore why are you wasting time being "grumpy" while playing it?

Reasons: 1) Weapon ascension - new weapons aren't worth chasing because my existing ones are better 2) Weapon reforging - took the purpose of IB away, too easy to get the weapons you want as you want it 3) HoW loot isn't very exciting - shank burn, really?!? 4) HoW Titan exotics are underwhelming 5) Already have Queenbreaks' Bow and Lord of Wolves 6) Etheric Light was too easy to get 7) Getting to 34 was too easy 8) PvP is mostly about using exotic HC's (and Messengers), Shot Package shotguns, and Grenades and Horseshoes Rocket launchers 9) Legendary weapons get handed out like candy in PvP 10) Strange Coins and Motes of Light are handed out like candy

I feel the same way finally got my gally last week and just got my 2nd and 3rd EC today right now I'm just going for all exotic weapons at this point

It's like a slot machine.....you keep doing the same thing over and over.....expecting different results. Sometimes you get lucky and score....other times you stare blankly wondering what the hell you are doing....yet you continue. I really keep playing in hopes Destiny will become that game I saw and was told about in the trailers and ViDocs....though I have my doubts...yet still I continue.

Yeah. I literally play because a few good people I know play. And I've had a glitch with PlayStation store this week where it's locked me out of all the DLC. Including tdb. And to be honest, I'm not bothered. The only thing I'm truly chasing is gjallahorn and I'm only doing nightfalls, I can't be arsed with raids etc for it any more. I went through a stage if killing myself trying to get it. 3xhm raid, 1xNF per week, per character. Now I just cba. Crucible is OK, and I'm yet to try trials (was gonna this week, but glitch) so yeah. The spark has gone. And with the clear disregard for vets bungivission has shown, it is clear that it will not get any better come September. So I don't have anything to look forward to with this game. I'll probably get doom 5 and fallout 4 and that will tide me over. As for the minute I'm replaying gta 5 and farcry 4. RIP Destiny

Ever since I found out people can pay for all of the expansions and the game for half the price of what we paid (and have to pay) for all of the content, I chose not to pay for TTK and have promptly lost motivation. When I'm done with upgrading and grabbing the last few guns I need, I'm probably just gonna play crucible until I get bored. Of course, if something changes for us year one players, I might buy TTK and be more excited for Destiny.

Not the only one. I've gone through this numerous times. Most prominently, a few weeks after a DLC drops. I haven't played since week 4 of HoW.

Meh, I truly don't know why I'm still playing this game. I'm in it for the moments. However, I can only truly have fun playing Crucible, as much of a rage fest that is. I do find myself playing other games a lot more now as I used to solely play Destiny for a while now. Sometimes I wonder, do I want to be able to relive my experience towards the beginning of this game? I probably do.

Had to take three months off destiny between December and April before I could face it again. In between I had a lot of fun with MCC!

3 weeks before TDB I was bored and I had no exotics at all and I was only 24 that goes to show how repetitive the game is and I came back 1 week after HOW came out then I had so much to do now I have a 34 and a 32 and I feel bored again and I haven't even started my warlock
