What is the best way to get a gally?
Ive been playing for months and have never gotten a gally. Xur should sell it but for about 50 strange coins.
What are some tips and tricks to getting one?

Crying is the best method.. However I got 2 in one day :) one from poe and one from crota hard. The gjallarhorn will choose you when it's time.

You can get one ANY way, literally no specific "tricks" to get one. Just do everything that could possibly give you an exotic, 3 times a week, and hope

Just get 3 characters and run 3 nightfalls, 3 crotas and VoG on normal then hard, PoE chest, and exotic chest, every week

Kill Randal the vandal 30,000 times, on the 30,000th time you kill him, he will drop an exotic heavy engram, that will decrypt into a Gjallarhorn

There are no tips that can help you with this loot system. You just have to do everything possible to increase your chances. VoG, Crota, PoE and Nightfalls.

The first roll you get scrap it! The cryptarch is B8ing you into getting bullshit. He is not your M8. So when you shard out every engram roll, go to the reef and find broken servitor. Play with it until it goes to postmaster, this should make a press button option to appear. Do it to bathe the postmaster in light. Next go to VoG, kick your teammies at Templar checkpoint, unlocks secret mechanic allowing you 1 gjally at gorgon chest. You must predict templar teleport spots and stand there before he gets there at least twice. You should only wipe several times. Trust me it worked for everyone postHoW. I've received 4 in my time, 3 by crucible and one from crotas end ( hard or normal I can't recall ). I got one tonight ( came 2nd ) after I was tea bagged pretty heavy. Lol would have loved to see their faces!!!! Bahahahaha!!!
