Because when it comes down to it Fallout has a far more thought out world to explore. There is a lot that you can do within the game, even more if you are easily amused. The world truly resembles a persistent and open world, events occur that can change the world and people within it. Additionally they can occur without your characters being anywhere near them. Oh and you can basically make your own weapon as of 4, over 50 weapon types with 700+ possible mod types. That said I still love destiny for its gunplay, vog was fun. The maps are nice too look at, as are the characters. There is still potential with destiny, but it is being held hostage by the format activision/ bungie has chosen.
