IS $40 FOR AN EXPANSION GOOD??? (POLL)
Just wondering how many blind people will waste $40 for content that was made in about a day.
Edit: There are alot of people giving valid points about the DLC being $40 and that its adding way more stuff than past DLC's but as far as i know the only thing this DLC is bringing is same kind of stuff from past DLC's like New armor, new guns, a (few) new missions. my problem is that because of the past DLC lacking quality content, im having doubts that this one will be any better. another problem i have with this is that if you were to just buy destiny alone, you would get bored pretty fast so you would NEED to spend more money to get the full experience from the game.
Edit 2: I don't want to hate on this next DLC but at the same time i don't want to get my hopes up because the last two DLC's where honestly disappointing with the amount of re-used misson locations and other recycled content (which makes it seem it was made in a day). sure the PoO was a good idea but it was executed poorly and im not much of a PvP kind of guy so ToO didnt excite me that much. i dont even have to explain why TDB was bad it just was.

Its not just the price that makes me mad its the fact that we barely seen any content and they already want us to spend $40. We have put money into false hopes before ex: the launch of destiny.

In saying that though previous expansions for Destiny have been very lacklustre so they would need to convince me I would not buy it just because it is Destiny DLC.

We're so far getting about 1/8 of the original game so yep so far i would pay around $8-10 for the other stuff. As more stuff is added to The expansion (god I really hope there is more) the price should seem more and more acceptable hope fully until the expansion feels like it's worth it... (I don't foresee it getting to this point.) so eventually I hope it gets to a point that I think I'm getting maybe $30 worth of content and I'll waste the extra $10... Maybe.

I wouldn't go so far as calling it an "expansion". Calling it an expansion would mean that they actually expanded the game,which so far they failed in doing.

30 dollars is fair. 40 is pushing it. We'll have to see what content there is for TTK when it comes out to see if its truly worth 40 bucks

If you know anything about the industry, you'll realize that it takes much more than a day, week or month to deliver what they are delivering. That being said, $40 is too high IMO. I think $25 is a more realistic price point.

It's a lot more in Europe. So it's the same price as for the base game but with less content.

About the Collectors Edition...is it available for 360 and PS3? I don't see it there... If I were to get the Xbox one version (since I don't need the disc) could I just use the code I get from GameStop?

"Blind people" You find some way to force Bungie to decrease the price and I'll thank you. Until then, I'd like to play those new subclasses, so I'll be buying the DLC. I'm sure the people who plan on buying it know it shouldn't cost as much as it does, but it's either that or don't play it at all.
