The sad truth.
Its not the money, believe me.
I dont feel entitled.
Its the principle that half you sheep will blindly hand over $20 (same price as 'big' expansions)
This further promotes paid dlc and division of games before their release only to be sold back to us.
See the bigger picture, im portraying something that most of you seemingly cannot comprehend because it attacks your egos, dont let it. Its not an attack on you guys, its for us, the gamers

1 RispondiThese kids won't understand, 20 bucks for those items what a -blam!-ing joke. witcher 3 has a 10 hour expansion for half that and add 10 more bucks and they have a 20 hour expansion. These greedy -blam!-s have lost it officially. Lol
-
Seeing as what new players get for $80 those items figure out to be free.
-
These Ho's ain't loyal.
-
4 RisposteI'm happy with the update tbh and will be going the extra $20 route.
-
1 RispondiOh we're sorry, please pay us 40 for taken king and 20 for dlc items instead of just paying 70 bucks.... someone really needs a better PR agent... Asshat or not (your words) quite thinking with greed and begin doing right by the players. If your going to settle with this over flatter price tag then also cut it into hunter / titan / warlock packs. That way you'll make even more money.
-
1 RispondiModificato da Twontonamo: 6/25/2015 2:18:30 AMYep i CAN afford all this shit. Will i buy it? Maybe not. But its the PRINCIPLE behind it that so many people allow them to do this shit. Itll only get worse if sheeple keep shelling out money like this.
-
5 RisposteBuying something you want at the offered price doesn't make you a sheep. Your statement is ridiculous and insulting, especially after this forum spent a week throwing a fit over not being able to buy those items seperately. If you don't like yhe price you can choose not to buy. You can even come here and complain about it. You don't get to get insult other players just because they've decided the price is fair for the items they want. Seriosly, knock it off.
-
1 RispondiThey somehow think a few cosmetic items are worth an entire previous DLC. I'm reminded of the South Park about the recession, where they reveal that all economic decisions are decided by cutting a chicken's head off and seeing where it falls on a chart. This should have been $10. Instead, it's $20, and we get a free middle finger too.
-
1 RispondiThis is the new bungie,im surprised the apology was free.
-
1 RispondiThank you my friend, although these ideas will be swept under the rug, it's refreshing to see there are others out there that see the inevitable demise of the industry due to truly impossible consumers. For lack of so many better words, it's simply blind stupidity.
-
3 RisposteThis will just pave the way for microtransactions in Destiny. If enough "Desticles" drop $20 (The price of a full expansion BTW...) for a few cosmetic items and emotes than Activision will know they have them hooked enough to introduce microtransactions. It is in the contract that they can put them in the game anytime they want...
-
1 RispondiI thought they lowered the TTK to $20 at first. I got super happy and then realized they are charging $20 for absolute crap. I sure won't buy it. Not sure about TTK now either.
-
1 RispondiMeanwhile at Bungie...
-
1 Rispondi$20 for emotes is really expensive, they're -blam!-ing emotes shouldn't they be in the game in the first place. So now the DLC is the price of a full game and they justify that with emotes? $2.50 for each emote is reasonable and we should be able to choose to choose them independently
-
2 RisposteWell we did it. Microtransaction! :Cringe intensifies:
-
1 RispondiBut if you show me the emotes...I'd throw money at the screen. For this reason we priced it at $20 as it's unlikely you'd be carrying that much change. The costing of this was done after numerous tests in which I must sadly inform you that 19 televisions lost their life. We found the safest thing to throw are $20 notes because of their natural aerodynamics.
-
Keep digging that hole Bungie. $20 for emotes and some other shitty things most of us don't give a rats ass about as an apology?! Those must be some really good drugs you guys are on. How about fixing the pricing model of the digital stand alone TTK expansion and starting from there. How about explaining the huge markup to existing customers outside the US? Baaaaa Baaaaa Baaaa Baaaaa ... just remembered I'm supposed be to a sheep ... Baaaa Baaaaaa
-
It literally amazed me reading the update, it's very clear this 'new' bungie, doesn't care about it's gamers the way they use to, another £20 for some things that really should of gone to day oners (new players get the current emotes) is a joke. Oh well, not long until Halo 5 :D
-
Should be $10.
-
1 RispondiShould be $10
-
NICE!!! $20 for a class item, shader and dance move!!! the first two DLC's were less than $15 and included strikes, raid, pvp maps and so on, now $20 for class items LOL bahahaha Please hire grown up's at your company bungie, enough is enough the 10 year olds working there currently
-
Please refer to the optional digital collector's edition.
T-shirts can be sold for $60. T-SHIRTS FOR $60!!!!
Look, I know, $20 for 3 class items, emotes; cosmetics. $20 for Destiny 1.0 expansion pass. Not a fair deal right? Sure. These cosmetic items are rather high in price. If the final price is $20 then that is the deal.
-
This lol
-
1 RispondiSo 3 shaders , 3 exotic armor pieces ( 1 per character and 3 emotes cost the same as HoW did which came with new legendary weapons , armor , new Pve end game new pvp end game 3 new exotic armor pieces per character , plus new shaders and emblems ... thats what makes no sense to me and i think its -blam!-ed up ...TTK i will buy thats no problem but the upgrade is retarded
-
27 RisposteBungie: -and here's the Collector's Edition, it comes with a few extra items for those collectors out there that are willing to pay extra. Forum: What?! How dare they! I refuse to pay for the Collector's Edition, because it contains content I already paid for! This is an insult to long time players! If Bungie had any decency they would offer us the extra content for purchase! Bungie: We're sorry, here's that thing you said you wanted. Forum: *spits in Bungie's eye* You did it now. I'm going to have to tear you a new one for expecting me to pay money for this! Bungie: Uh- Sorry? We'll try to develop other things to give you for free. Please, just give us a bit more time. Forum: *begins filling a pillowcase with doorknobs* You greedy bastards don't know when to quit, do you? *begins beating Bungie with the sack of doorknobs*

4 RisposteEveryone is complaining about the emotes and cosmetics. I couldn't care less about the emotes and cosmetics. What I dont like is: The price of the Legendary edition compared to the prices of everything in it (if bought seperately). 70 for edition 65 for base game 40 for TTK 35 for TDB and HoW 140 for the lot. So it can be: (based on current prices subtracted from edition) 5 for TDB, HoW and TTK 35 for base game and TTK 30 for base game, TDB and HoW, The price of TTK and its various editions in "foreign currencies". $40 =/= £40. And I heard the Australians got f***ed over too. The euro isnt so bad. $40 = €~45, And the fact that, since TTK is $40, that is the same price (basically) as TDB and HoW. Therefore it should have content more than (preferably) or equal to those two combined. And so far (I know its three months away) it doesn't look like it would live up to that expectation. Bungie only addressed the issue of the exclusive stuff, not all of the concerns.
