Bungie did exactly what I wanted and or believed the community wanted them to do. Price point is irrelevant. They have the right to determine price (have you seen the price of league skins?) so the $20 is fine. That point is, now that content IS available to me and I DONT have to pay $80 for stuff I own! Im willing to bet they are just going to reinforce the "awesome new shader, class item and sparrow" that they have already announced and showed us. Everyone is so pumped for weekly update.. but I am willing to bet they are just gonna explain how we get those... or that "we had access to weapons and armor that the noobs dont, so thats our bonus. What you guys think. Something actually worthwhile? or you think they will just tell us we're getting stuff we already knew about.

TL;DR we mad about the pricing strucure in regards to the content we the year one players are being told NO too, unless we shell out $80 to buy a bunch of stuff WE ARLEADY BOUGHT!
Edit 3. [b]we are in a sense bitching about missing out on some pretty minor things. However, it's the principal set now that could determine the future of content for this game. That stuff isn't even available to me unless I buy that? Like I can't buy that later on, or get a dlc that is just ttk and those items? That is what my main issue is. And honestly I just made this thread to get a general consensus from you guys. Sounds like for the most part people are frustrated for different reasons, however to me it just comes down to the principal of having that content locked behind rebuying content. [/b]

I think theres a few possibilities. 1. What you said, just reinforcing what theyve already said 2. Create a new package for TTK that includes other bonuses. Probably would price at $60 3. Give early access to some part of the expansion 4. Bundle the collectors edition emotes into the expansion

Before that we worried that we'd get bought by someone who just wanted Mac ports or didn't have a clue." Back then, Bungie was more enthused about creating an experience / a game changer. They knew profits would come, but they wanted to keep a positive impression for Bungie. Ever since the merger with Activision, the impression has become profit and profit only. Activision is more concerned about filling the shareholders' pockets than the customers' wants. Anyone who has studied management in college could tell you that in modern management, the purpose of creating a business is to create a customer. Bungie already has their customers, they are reaching for more to appease their (Activision's) shareholders. Shareholder value is the world's dumbest idea..... Bungie knew this 10 years ago, why have they now changed their minds?

DeeJ said it doesnt just stop at the shader, emblem and sparrow for the Day 1ers, so I am reserving judgement until I have seen that. Tbh, I'd much rather have that shader and black sparrow than the other stuff. More Snowflake status.

To keep from ranting I am just going to lay it out for you bungie. Its not complicated and I will use small words so even Luke Smith can understand. -Tell a story. An actual cohesive story. People who hand us purple bounties and occasionally talks during my pretty loading screen and during the mission is story telling IF there is events in between (cutscenes? Remember those?) -Content. Plain and simple. Running the same areas backwards and sideways with mixes of different enemies was ok for a while. Its been almost a year. We still have 4 locations. Reef does not count and its old. I am paying $40. The price tag on even the vanilla game need justification. -Fix the damn crucible. Make tweaks to the guns in pvp. Leave them alone in pve. Fix AR for both. Two words: Dedicated servers. -can we get one new weapon type maybe 2. I know thats like asking Xur to sell ghorn, it will break the game. If you can not make any of this happen then can you do us all a favor? Send us on an exploratory mission to Uranus to penetrate deep within and learn the location of where your heads are at?
