Bungie should have Xur sell Gjallarhorn to show appreciation for veteran players and the community as a whole.
41 weeks into the game and it was only sold once in week 2. Time to sell the gjallarhorn for all guardians.

If anything that would only benefit the newer guardians as most of them got fed up with RNG. Plus, what would you be looking for after gjally? The air? Believe me, they'd lose half of their player base.

7 RisposteI could not agree more. This would be a wonderful way to make it up to all the many players that Bungie ticked off this week. This would be a terrific public relations move. But are they smart enough to do this? Honestly I don't think so. They have had many opportunities to take advantage of certain events to make the player base happy but have not done so. As for myself I have been playing since day 1 and have over 1,200 hour into the game and don't have one and I bet there are plenty of others in the same situation.

Give it time and it will drop for you. Day 1 Beta player and had my girst Gjallarhorn drop off Atheon HM last night. It is definitely a special moment seeing it show up as a reward. Prior to last night I was all for Xur selling it, and I still am. It's a great gun, but it is not the end all be all everyone thinks it is. Many fights there are better choices to use (Black Hammer, Truth, Hazean Vengeance, Thunderlord, etc.). Each boss/battle requires different strategies.

10 RisposteGjallarhorn should be taken out of the loot table. Veteran players with Gjallarhorn should be able to upgrade it to Super Gjallarhorn that turns black and holds 3 rockets instead of 2.
