Not the point. Based on the economy, min wage, average income, cost of living, etc. you paying 40£ in your country could be the same as me paying $40 in the U.S.

Maybe, but the actual value of what the two people would be paying is noticeably different

Yeah sure but that answer isn't concrete unless we know how other factors play a role. Like I said, I don't know and I'm not gonna bother, but values may not be all that different. It may be fair, it may be just a little more than $40, etc.
