Weapons!!!!! Bungie clearly don't know how real life weapons work
How on earth does a pistol or 'hand cannon' deliver more damage and range than semi automatic scout rifle!
The barrel length determines accuracy and range depending on the caliber of round you fire! A pistol or 'hand cannon' is accurate to about 25 meters! Rifles, with correct barrel rifling and weighted rounds can hit a target a mile away (1600 meters)
Sort your weapons out bungie!!!!!
A pistol should not be out performing a rifle, a pistol is a quick go-to secondary weapon, not a primary killing machine

Yeah bungie can't even get firefly right do they even realize firefly has an explosive radius of 25 feet in real life but noooooooo in destiny it has an explosive radius of 10 to 15 feet gosh do you homework bungie!

In a world where aliens are trying to kill us all, a big white ball has made Mars, Venus, and the Moon habitable, a 'ghost' follows you everywhere and shows evidence of advanced AI, said ghost can respawn you after you have been blown up by a rocket, and we have learned how to travel at lightspeed - you are worried that gun technology doesn't represent today's standards? You're an idiot. For all we know the technology in these guns is completely different from what we know (i.e. how the -blam!- do you think fusion rifles work??). The guns form could simply be an aesthetic chosen by it's creator, not the actual technology behind the gun.

These aren't mere "pistols." These are [i]hand cannons[/i]. They wouldn't be out of place on an armored vehicle.

1 RispondiFirst off its a game not real life secondly a hand cannon is not a pistol, Hand cannons currently exist they simply are a hand gun that use a rifle caliber round. The issue we have is that most maps are too small to see the difference between the 2.

Where is your accounting for point blank with said pistol or "hand cannon" should be 1 shot head shot. In the game it isn't. Brings me to this point.......It's just a game.

It should be noted that Guardians are 3 ft tall, using them to scale the maps in the game the biggest map isn't more than 100 ft from end to end. (not counting combined arms maps) Therefore, it makes sense that you can hit with more force considering that there isn't actually that much space in these maps. TL:DR range is bs, bungie has no idea what the range on the guns means, and the stats on the guns are arbitrary at best and don't actually mean anything

Yeah Bungie do some research first gosh. Just the other day i was talking to a fallen vandal at the gym, i was like " dude whats up with those tracking bullets?..they don't feel too real here on earth"...he just walked away. They have some bad attitude I tell you. The VEX are little cooler to talk to.
