I'd rather try than go on wondering for the rest of my life, you know?

Yes and I applaud your effort but you have to remember here that Bungie and them kind of left the community to pump out DLC and stuff

Such is the game of studios and making a profit. How video games are handled these days, including DLCs, is changing I can't blame them for going with it all. It may seem like alot to pay this or that for each DLC that comes out, but it you do the math you're actually saving money. Instead of a night on the town, paying for dinner, drinks, and maybe a trinket or two, you're at home playing Destiny. One night of gaming possibly saved you anywhere between 20 and 60 bucks, the price of a game and a DLC. Multiple that by how many hours, nights, weekends, you spend gaming and you're actually saving quite a bit. Also, you have to think of the studio's needs such as overhead, staffing, keeping up with technology. It's not cheap. So what if I have to pay eighty bucks for the Collector's Edition of The Taken King? To me it's worth it because I'll be gaming with my clan, saving money rather than going out on the town, and supporting a studio I love.
