Tips on killing Urzok, now that the Blade doesn't spawn
Started a new character, got him to 29, got to the point of needing to kill Urzok, but the only way I could do that last time was to kill the Blade of Crota and use the sword. Now that they don't spawn on patrols, how the hell am I supposed to kill him if no one else is around for the event?
Update: one failed attempt while defending warsat
Update 2: just got scorch cannon, warsat just got here. Time to try again
Update 3: scorch cannons didn't do shit, even with his shields down. Two other people showed up and killed off early waves, all hell broke loose.
EDIT: Ran PoE twice, got to level 31. Also, I'M A VOID WARLOCK, just to let people know my class. I probably should've clarified that in my initial post.

If u haven't hinder lord use that to get the shelf down then hit him with a shotgun Oh and u might want to use ur sub singer that way if u get killed u can just revive right there ad start spamming grenades instead of needing to respawn across the map and his shield gets back up

Just keep steady fire on him, try using atheon's epilogue or other high rate of fire large magazine auto rifle, take out his shields with an arc shotgun first, then use gjallahorn or machine gun, keep his shields from recharging. I recomment throwing a grenade that does damage over time while you reload so his shields don't recharge.

Thunderlord to drop shield and then rockets or Arc shotgun. Key is to keep constant damage in him or he shield will regen super fast.

What console are you on? If you are having trouble still and are on XB1 I will kill him for you.

Were you charging the scorch cannon shots fully? No idea if that's enough, just astonished how many people don't against the wolves.

You are probably going to need multiple people. His shields are strong and regenerate fast. After you just constantly put arc fire on him, it will break. Just keep putting fire on him so his shields don't return. His health is way lower than his shields too.

If you can't find a Found Verdict, buy Hard Luck Charm and re roll it for arc and full auto. Luck in the chamber helps too. That is my go-to pve shotgun.

Get some arc primaries/specials, burn his shield, 2-3 ghorn rockets later and he should be done

Yeah Just Use Found Verdict once his shields are down you'll be able to kill him easily

People over exaggerate how hard he is. He is super easy to beat with any somewhat decent Arc Shotgun

The first time he left <1 minute after I got there, the other time there happened to be 3 other people there so I had high hopes. The enemy advanced against each other and we were doing a great job of cutting the mobs down and then......I get returned to orbit while it's trying to connect to destiny servers grumble grumble grumble

Seriously, what is so -blam!-ing difficult about using an Arc shotgun and a decent Rocket/Machine gun? He's so easy.

Get a couple friends to help you, it's pretty rough solo. I was only able to do it on my Titan after the how pre events started and people were farming chests in sky watch.

You need at least one Guardian with a fusion rifle. Pocket infinity seem to work well to take down Urzoks shield.

Arc shotgun, arc machine gun, maybe thorn to keep those shields down Sidearms are decent too

You got a found verdict, matador, felwinters or party crasher in arc? Will tear through the shield like butter.
