So I've been trying for a while now to make my warlock look good, but I just haven't been able to. I have been trying even before the House of Wolves update. I thought that the update would help me with my problem and give me more options to choose from. The real problem here is with the chest armor. Let's see what our options are... Vault of Glass chest armor (looks better than most) Crota chest armor (doesn't really go with any of the new stuff that is in HoW) PoE chest armor (meh) ToO exile chest armor (nope) Vendor gear (lol?) I don't know what they're thinking with all of this asymmetrical gear. It just doesn't look good. I know people have their preferences, but most people that I have talked to will agree that it does not look good. There is the old Iron Banner chest that I am now really disappointed about because I didn't get it because I was too busy with my hunters and now it seems like that chest will no longer be available. The level 10 green and blue gear has been my favorite. I really like the basic look of those chest pieces, if I could ascend those I probably would. The only way I can make my warlock look nice is with an exotic piece it seems like, but if you have The Ram then another exotic is not an option. I just feel like there wasn't a lot of effort put into these designs. I hope that there will be better looking gear in the next expansion with a little more variety. Edit- Just found the picture that I saw before of the new Iron Banner gear. The warlock Iron Banner chest appears to be asymmetrical too. Why... - I think this is something that Bungie should focus on. Getting cool looking gear is something that makes people keep playing for it. - Don't want to give up looks for a better set up. The old Iron Banner chest piece seems to be the best chest right now... At least to me. Now it seems that that will probably no longer be available. I just never bought it because none of them seemed to be great rolls. I would definitely wear it now even though the perks would probably not benefit me because with the options I have in HoW they would force me to. - So after looking at your warlocks I have found out that I absolutely need the Iron Banner chest piece. I have a blue chest piece on right now which is basically what my warlock would like if I had Iron Banner gear if you guys want to check it out. Bungie, if you are listening, I will pay Etheric Light for the old Iron Banner chest piece with the wolves on it. You can take all of it! Just leave me one so I can upgrade it. Please make it possible for us to obtain it once again. I'm at the point where I pretty much have everything in the game and looks are becoming the only thing that matters now.
