They fed us hope in the beginning (over 2 years ago) with what Destiny was going to be, yet it is not what we were told. They said that the DLC's were going to improve the game, but after playing them for a while, you learn that they also were hyped. If you really spent time and explored the areas, and not just fight the enemy's, or did what they wanted you would have found, and explored, the areas that were the DLC's before they were even announced.
If they actually tried to fix the bugs that plagued us players, and didn't rush to stop us from finding, and using, areas that gave us better odds of defeating the enemy, then maybe those that stopped playing, and those that are still enjoying the game, but are disappointed in many aspects of it, wouldn't hesitate to get the newest addition.
They know how to market the game, and to get our hopes up. They know that many that are complaining will still purchase it "hoping" for something great, when it will only end up be mediocre (if we are lucky.) They know what to say to make us "hope" for something better, when it will end up being lesser than implied.
They hyped up the game before it was released. I talked my friends into purchasing and now they have grown tired of it and no longer play. I held out longer than they did, yet I am now getting completely disappointed. Simply because they don't have any "real" customer service, nor can you really count on the "stat/lvl" numbers you are seeing of your enemies, or yourself. They don't tell us what the real meaning of those numbers are, such as attack for our weapons, or the correlation for experience and reputation. I don't know about others, and really don't care to hear from "nay" sayers, but it bugs me that we cannot take on things that are over three levels above us, yet they place things in the game like a level 28 knight, where all the other characters are level 1. We can be easily killed by something 1 lvl higher than us, yet we have extreme difficulty killing something that is 10 levels below us.
While I would like to be able to get from this game what they hyped before release, or even something that was (in general) more reasonable in the reward system and the battle system, and if we could get some "official" information about things in the game, then I probably would be more willing to buy the newest addition they are informing us about. But when you get "rewards," from your own "guides" that are less than what you already have, and when others seem to easily get things for doing less, and being a lower level, something is not right.
Bungie! Activision! You wnat to keep your original fans? You want us to continue supporting you? Then please don't give us false enemy level numbers; for instance: under the staircase at the bottom of Bunker RAS-2, in the Forgotten Shore, with two level 18 Hallowed Knights and a level 18 Celebrant of Oryx that can kill a level 34 guardian as easily as a level 18 guardian. I think that the "level 18 Celebrant of Oryx" should tell us something different, other than just a "named" enemy. If a level 34 can empty 3, or more, clips into a Yellow - level 18, named enemy - then we need to know that it is more than a level 18! Don't put a Level 28 Queenbreaker Captain (at dock 13) in with level 1 enemy's where someone under 24 can't do damage tothereby can't take out the level 1 enemy's. Don't give PvP players opportunities to get Ethric Light, and not PvE players an equal opportunity. If you can only get Etheric Light, to advance your old (even newer) equipment, doing the PoE, then do that; don't show favoritism to one group over another - after all, I'd like to have an opportunity to get it without having to find others to help.

2 RisposteThey even made it expensive to buy the new dlc it cost 40 bucks and you can go to game stop and get all of it for $60. Wtf up with that I have had the game since day one I have spent over 100 dollars on the game why do I get the crappie end of the deal and someone that doesn't have the game can go and buy destiny for $60 and get all of it. That is wrong they are screwing the players over

Only if it transfers between my Xbox One and my 360
-
Halo warzone. 16 v 16 with additional ai with dedicated servers as well. Enough said
-
I'm buying it lol
-
I'm buying it. The subclasses look cool and enjoyable. I like the concept of the taken and the new crucible game modes. Also, Xur will probably start selling the hawkmoon because anyone can get it now. Also, can't wait to kill Oryx and hit light level 50. It will also offer a cheap way for my friends to get into destiny with some cool exotic class items.
-
Unless they add in an ingame LFG system or optional matchmaking then I'll be passing on TTK. No reason to pay for more content that I won't be able to try.
-
Nope ill wait this time I want to see what the forums look like after a week atleast.
-
I would buy it if it has- -6 raids with 8-10 players - infinity rocket launcher -12 story mode -10 strikes with 6-10 players -gjallarhorn that is arc, void - infinity auto rifle, shotgun, hand cannon - able to cut scene - new planets for PvE, Public events

Well.. Imma save Up Money for The Taken King And the expansion Pass By September 13(Later wait till 15)
I suck at grammar
-
2 RisposteProbably not... I'd be nice if it was way cheaper. Not all of us are spoiled...
-
I will buy The Taken King, but it is not an auto-preorder as I assumed it would be. I am definitely disappointed in the bonus content availability model Bungie has adopted. I will wait and see if Bungie changes tactics and rolls out a different sku. If they are willing to re-evaluate the pricing structure and give us more options, I will likely dive right in. Of course, Bungie's not been that great on giving us "options," in general. Stand by, Guardians.

Dude all the things I said are the reason I can't wait for mass effect 4 to come out. Bioware actively talks to its community I'm not saying mods and ninjas I'm saying the devs will get on the forums and talk to you and address your issues, answer your questions, they wouldn't hide behind a community manager (no offense deej but u need to talk more on these forums).

Modificato da McQuade: 6/16/2015 8:14:12 PMNo chance, got three copies that's ready for the next episode of "will it blend"
-
Why? I'm not getting what I'm paying for if I bought it. Anybody here ever buy half a car?
-
https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/130823125/0/0 No new players pay $60 for my $140. Screw Bungie they have lost the last bit of loyalty they had from me
-
I agree, this is kind of annoying how they keep doing this. That's why I'm holding off pre-order until another game comes out to see if I'll even keep playing destiny at all. I'm hoping they take it in the right direction and make it at least worth half that $40.
-
Definitely buying it. I've never played a game for 6 months straight. Adding more content makes it worth the while.
-
1 RispondiI agree that Destiny is not the game that was advertised. That is impossible to ignore, and is a real disappointment. However, it is VERY clear that Bungie does listen, pay attention to, and respond based upon player feedback. Dark Below was a disappointment in many ways, House of Wolves has been an improvement. Destiny has a lot of potential, more than any game has had in a long time. House of Wolves was a step in the right direction toward meeting that potential, so I will see what direction their next step takes Destiny in. There is still loads of work to do to meet that promised potential, and I don't know if Bungie will be able to or not. But if their next step doesn't take Destiny in the wrong direction, I will probably buy the Taken King and remain on board for the time being.

Buying it. Simply because no other game has made me play as long as destiny has. Its fun, and new content is always worth buying for a game like this. So its Trials until then cause Skolas has nothing to offer me anymore. I have all new exotics you get from that battle, and all elemental primaries you can get. So for players like me its Trials and nightfalls only. Until TFK of course.

-blam!-kkkkkkkkk no.

3 RisposteModificato da CannyJack: 6/16/2015 6:56:51 PMYup. I have received an entertainment value well in excess of the $100 I've spent on Destiny, and I see no reason why The Taken King won't deliver similarly. $40 more is a trivial expense given how much I enjoy playing the game (I mean, based on previous performance, that's 400+ more hours of gaming for me).
-
Don't need to read your rant..... I m buying it. I have gotten a lot of value from Destiny.
-
I'm not buying it. After playing both crotas end and house of wolves, I realize the game is nothing but a race to level cap. You need friends to get there fast, good friends. I don't have too many friends that are THAT good let alone have the coincidence to be on at the same time as them. I have a job and a family. And not for one second do I want to hear elitist bastards tell me off. Im tired of people sugarcoating the phrase "You have to have no life to play this game". I understand how video games are supposed to be played. I've been playing MMO's and RPG's my entire life. This expansion cost $40. I'm neglecting to buying it NOT because it is too much money, I'm not buying it because it is morally unjust. If you are truly passionate about a game, you will find a way to get it. Needless to say (I'm not buying it), this game was fun, and it provided entertainment. I'm tired of racing for level cap in this game. I'm mostly tired of the fact that you can't get to max level without someone holding your hand or helping you. F*ck that. I've had enough of a game I need people to help me with. I'm going to go play witcher now because the time I put in IS what I am going to get out of it.
-
5 RisposteNope, I refuse to pay the same for less content for another year. Bungie(Activision) has neglected the shit out of their Xbox fanbase. A whole -blam!-ing year! WE STILL DON'T HAVE HAWKMOON! Still! PS: Add a tl:dr? That wall of text rivals the Berlin Wall.
-
I'm not buying it because it's going to be 12 missions that you play one time and a raid. All it is is TDB and HoW with a few extra missions. Both those DLCs sucked after a couple weeks this is not going to be any different. Of course those that love grinding and handing cash over are going to and bungies bottom line isn't going to change so we are wasting our time even talking about it
