Scholas IS now un doable due to BUNGIE so called FIX
Bungie i hope you read this and know you LIED to us about fixing Level 35 POE because now 14 Gally shots does not do any damage whatsoever now and having light switch on a map with nothing but rever captains with swords is wrong. Could you not even wait untill reset to DESTROY the game. Why should i ever buy another Bungie product again????????

1 RispondiIf your smart you don't need a gally, only to clear adds. Adds spawn about every 10% of his health you take, so just shoot him with your primary until adds spawn, the. Use your gally to get rid of them [u]without shooting skolas[/u]. Then regroup and repeat. This takes a bit longer, but it is super easy.

1 RispondiOmg dude, I 'first-tried' each 35poe on each of my chars... The fight is stupid easy now. Literally we were having conversations about other things, while playing a calm game of hot potato.

Only kill adds when they come, when adds are killed damage skolas, have a Titan equip gift of void, welcome to orb fest 2015, stay close together, trade supers, if you're a self res warlock, only use heavy when radiance is active to spawn orbs for your team mates, use a sniper rifle.

3 RisposteThere are too many adds in the room still...the fight wouldn't be as bad if they take away the adds...atheon and crota don't have many adds in the room with them but skolas has adds everywhere

1 RispondiI did it last night no problem. As long as you know the mechanics of the fight, and execute the fight properly. It's actually quite easy. The ghallahorn strategy does not work anymore. That was the point of the update....

Gjallahorn is a baller but isn't the end all for a boss.......maybe try using guns that will protect you on mines like invective and prevent the captains from getting too close

Well they fixed it so you couldn't burn him and it sounds like you were still trying to burn him

3 RisposteLightswitch is really bad when you have to stand on a mine for 15 seconds which is -blam!-ING SURROUNDED with majors with swords that fist of panic doesn't even touch.

Did it yesterday, second try took maybe 10 mins with wipe included.

If your complaining about making a boss more challenging and using the ghorn strategy is ineffective, I think you need to play another game.

3 RisposteI think you're just unfortunately doing this fight the wrong way. While it's true that some people just like nuking bosses with Gjallarhorn, you need to remember that the Skolas fight is the end of this DLC, the end-game per say, so understanding the fight mechanics is just part of the deal here. Get a team of players who understand the mechanics and then actually try running the fight without touching your rockets. Believe me, it may be hard at first, but you'll have so much more fun doing it that way and it will make the rewards at the end feel more earned.

13 RisposteLOL whiny little man who doesn't know how to communicate and strategize with your fireteam. Seriously dude!! We beat him our first go in 25 minutes. It's all about playing as a team and strategically taking the taint in time with capping the mines and killing all the adds. I haven't had that much fun playing Destiny in a while. I say BRAVO Bungie! They made it difficult but not overbearing and not too easy like last weeks. (We beat him in literally 45 seconds because of the burn. Skolas didn't even taint us and we had to cap two more mine rounds with nothing shooting at us)

10 RisposteDude, Skolas is a whole lot more FUN! I'd like to thank Bungie for the extra challenge. :) All you need is a good strat. Took my fire team an hour and a half to do the whole 35 prison.

Bungie! My gjallahorn isn't as powerful and it's not easy to burn Skolas anymore! Someone please help I don't want an actual challenge! I want to just burn him easily Bungie please fix!

We beat him last night on the first try. 1. Adds adds adds. Dont kill the servitor until every add is dead. 2. Wait til skolas is in view to kill the servitor and dps him. 3. Cycle everytime he gets close. 4. Everytime adds spawn at his health intervals skolas must take a back seat until they are gone. 5. Trade the poison once his chains are broken. 6. Make sure the hunter gets his poison in before he hits half health so he can do mines while the other two get the closest one. 7. Make sure everyone has rockets at his 25% health trigger and burn him before you do mines. It just takes team work and focusing the adds before skolas. It is better now and way more fun. Bungie did a great job imo
