keep your filthy paws OFF my Thorn
I am sick to death with reading forum posts, tweets, blogs and much more with people complaining about how annoying Thorn is in PvP. Too many people keep complaining about it being too good and it not being fair. My response? Hands off my Thorn, go get your own!
I understand where you're coming from, I too was on the wrong end of a few bullets from a Thorn but you know what I did. I stopped crying like a baby and completed the exotic bounty to get one of my own. And you know what, you should to. Instead of whining/bitching/complaining and being plain annoying just do the bounty. Not only will you bag yourself what is in my opinion one of the best primaries in the game but you will also have an appreciation of how much effort goes into getting one.
It wasn't easy, it took me many hours and I more than likely lost a few more hairs on my head then I can afford but it was worth it and even more so once I spent the additional time to upgrade it.
So no more asking Bungie to nerf one of my favourite guns, stop being lazy and put the time in to get one yourself or do the community as a whole a favour and shut the hell up.

1 RispondiI don't have one, but have the bounty on my hunter. Trying to complete the bounty and get gud at same time is hard work. Wish I had bounty before crucible secondary weapon ammo changes. Bungie definitely -blam!-ed up when they nerfed auto's. I'd prefer no more nerfing weapons and agree that Thorn should stay as it is. To those that want the Thorn nerfed... Please wash the sand out of your vagina!

It's -blam!-ing op and I'm forced to use it as crutch for ToO because it's so good. I would rather lose a trials game against better skilled players with different weapons than keep using that piece of shit gun. But when I don't, I'm at a disadvantage.

Crucible will be better if it just receives a slight range reduction, honestly not that good at PvP but I'm slowly improving, and I don't mind getting killed by it, but it's kinda crappy when you get killed from scout rifle range, overall it's an exotic HC so should be slightly op, just not into another weapon class range, the ranges on weapon class should matter & those with thorn should have to be closer to their target to take them down, I also believe people's loadouts would change for the better as more skill would be involved rather than people using thorn to counter thorn

Having one of our own to use (which I do) does nothing to help with the fact that most everyone does the final round glitch every kill. You may wanna even the playing field by getting your own , but it's still not leveled unless you do the glitch too

The point is there shouldn't be one weapon that stands head and shoulders above the rest. Weapon balance and variety is a good thing in a shooting game.

7 RisposteLol all this talk about thorn makes me laugh. I love using my thorn. I'm sure half the people complaining use it. It's a gun that's specifically made for pvp because it sucks in pve. Just learn to work around it and don't be stupid when you know you're playing against it.

I use Thorn and even I think it needs a nerf along with TLW Thorn poison(burn) should only proc with headshots and should have lower range and aim assist

Dude i got 2 thorns and its not really that hard to het one but i really think they need to do something about it. 7 Risposte"keep your filthy hands away from my pvp crutch because I'm a scrub" half the people complaining about thorn already have one and would like to see some diversity in enemy loadouts and to perhaps even change their own loadout safe in the knowledge that there is no longer a gun floating about that flat out beats 98% of the other weaponry. It's a walk in the park to obtain so don't try and lay that bs down, because anyone who knows anything about destiny knows that it is simply time consuming not mad skillz challenging. Death to Thorn, long live a diverse arsenal.

If only a few people had thorn I'd agree. BUT when you load up to0 and see thorn Thorn thorn on 9 different teams, it loses it earned state and goes into nerf status. Do I think thorn needs a nerf, yes. Just a slight one to the range. It shouldn't out gun haekmoon from long distance

I got one, a long time ago with nothing but a Praedyth's Revenge on a Hunter but that doesn't mean I don't think it's overpowered. I should not be required to use Thorn or The Last Word in Trials. I've used my Praedyth's Timepiece but it's just not worth it when that thing is out there. I have to get lucky with my Luck in the Chamber on my Fulcrum to compete with Thorn. But even then a skilled hand would trade with me after they died.
