keep your filthy paws OFF my Thorn
I am sick to death with reading forum posts, tweets, blogs and much more with people complaining about how annoying Thorn is in PvP. Too many people keep complaining about it being too good and it not being fair. My response? Hands off my Thorn, go get your own!
I understand where you're coming from, I too was on the wrong end of a few bullets from a Thorn but you know what I did. I stopped crying like a baby and completed the exotic bounty to get one of my own. And you know what, you should to. Instead of whining/bitching/complaining and being plain annoying just do the bounty. Not only will you bag yourself what is in my opinion one of the best primaries in the game but you will also have an appreciation of how much effort goes into getting one.
It wasn't easy, it took me many hours and I more than likely lost a few more hairs on my head then I can afford but it was worth it and even more so once I spent the additional time to upgrade it.
So no more asking Bungie to nerf one of my favourite guns, stop being lazy and put the time in to get one yourself or do the community as a whole a favour and shut the hell up.

The gun is overpowered regardless of what you say and they are nerfing it. The thorn takes no skill to use or get. I got it in an hour it isn't hard. Be better at pvp before you comment about the guns of this game. You have an opinion yes but the fact is its op and you're opinion is irrelevant

2 RisposteWell you see, not all of us want to use the same weapon. If that is your answer that is the same as saying it is indeed OP. We like choices. The answer to a weapon shouldn't be only the same weapon. All I got out of this was this gun was so OP I had no choice but to get it and use it so I could not die from it. Thorn is just a boring ass gun. What fun is it always using the same gun? Why even have all the others?

I miss Thorn as a six round beauty. I used to own with it and I didn't feel like a dirtbag.

Thorn was my first exotic bounty weapon that I got in the first month of the game. I used it before it got buffed and I still use it. I don't use it because it's OP. I use the gun because I like it. I like the design and I like the stats and perks of it. I would still use it if it was back to 6 rounds and less stability/reload. I do think the DoT should be nerfed though. At least make it bring them to 1 hp and not kill them.

First exotic, THORN, and I hate it its punk shit, always has been always will be. When I first got suros it tore any and all thorn users up, since nerf/buff completely upsidedown....all my opinion of course, but seriously it's a no talent kill using poison....

It's not that people don't have it. Everyone has it. People can't use their own favorite gun that ISNT thorn because thorn IS so powerful!

Thorn is piss easy to get so that's obviously the problem. The problem is wanting to pick different weapons to use because repetition is boring (reason I don't use tlw and thorn 24/7) but being at a disadvantage to the higher tier guns. Honestly if they just buffed ar's it would probably fix this whole thing

It needs a nerf, that's for sure, but it can't be brought down too much. Honestly, I think dropping the magazine size to 7 or 8 would be sufficient. But that's just my 2 cents. Feel free to disagree.

I understand the time it took to get the gun. I have done it. The problem is that after awhile it gets old using the same gun. Not to mention the forgiving nature of the thorn. The gun, along with others, are unbalanced. What needs to be done? No creditable idea. I just hate people wanting a hawkmoon nerf, much harder gun to handle but worth the reward if you can perfect it.

I have one, I Don't use it. I like variety. It doesn't seem to be a problem countering it, but users must be teabagged.
