keep your filthy paws OFF my Thorn
I am sick to death with reading forum posts, tweets, blogs and much more with people complaining about how annoying Thorn is in PvP. Too many people keep complaining about it being too good and it not being fair. My response? Hands off my Thorn, go get your own!
I understand where you're coming from, I too was on the wrong end of a few bullets from a Thorn but you know what I did. I stopped crying like a baby and completed the exotic bounty to get one of my own. And you know what, you should to. Instead of whining/bitching/complaining and being plain annoying just do the bounty. Not only will you bag yourself what is in my opinion one of the best primaries in the game but you will also have an appreciation of how much effort goes into getting one.
It wasn't easy, it took me many hours and I more than likely lost a few more hairs on my head then I can afford but it was worth it and even more so once I spent the additional time to upgrade it.
So no more asking Bungie to nerf one of my favourite guns, stop being lazy and put the time in to get one yourself or do the community as a whole a favour and shut the hell up.

The solution is balancing the different weapon classes so that there is some variance. Everyone using the same gun would get insanely mundane really quickly, kinda like the trials now.

Exactly. See when I got this weapon back before TDB and used it in Crucible. People were like hahaha shtty weapon. Oh I got killed by it, ok. Now because 70% of ppl in the Crucible have it everybody loses their minds! If you cant dodge the dam second shot then shouldn't be playing. I can kill a thorn wielder with my Bad Juju before his second shot. Not every time but more than half. So just learn how to counter it. I only use mine to shoot another so they can feel the burn.

You forgot the part where almost everyone who plays crucible competitively enough to make a forum post about the Thorn has had the weapon for a long time.

No it needs a slight balance. I have a thorn and I used to love(had the old thorn too)it until it got popular. I only bring it out for trials. Its a handcannon that does the highest dps of any handcannon in pvp with a bodyshot it beats even timurs lash damage for a headshot. That is unbalanced. I don't care about thorn's mag, stability, or great range it can have but lowering the dot would not anger that many people and 2 headshots would leave a guardian with a silver of health left. Not too hard to finish someone off with Thorn's fast fire rate.

I've done it 4 times and scrapped it every single time. I want a fair game I want every gun to be a good choice but scrubs like you only want to use thorn.

I've had that gun sense week 3 and the bounty is so dam easy it's sad. Also make it a 3 shot like every other hand cannon.

Wait. Are you implying the bounty was hard? [spoiler]I certainly hope not.[/spoiler] The TTK on Thorn (and TLW) is way too low. Hand cannons in general either need to be nerfed, or Bungie needs to buff everything in order to balance the playing field. Not a coincidence everyone in PvP runs a hand cannon.

You know what I did? I'm not a crucible person but have had thorn since September. After everyone started complaining about it I took it out for a test run in crucible. And it is way too overpowered. Yes its good. Too god. Yes I like using it. But it needs a nerf.

The bounty is easy af. No matter how hard it is for people like you to complete, it won't justify the gun being better than all the rest either. It should be nerfed. 0,36 seconds and the player will die without a Red death kill.

I have thorn and I agree that it needs to be nerfed. The reason that people complain about it is that it takes all variety away from pvp. You know that a gun needs nerfed when it is the only gun used in a competitive game mode
