Still zero etheric light ~ not acceptable
I don't play pvp unless i have to. I play pve and haven't received any eth light yet.
So I'm still 32 after all this time.
That shit is rare. Especially rare in pve.
Sort it out or this is just a waste of our time.

Honestly at this point, you have no real excuse to not be level 34. There have been 4 weeks of the PoE, which has brought a full rotation of gear. Now I'll grant that the full strength stat is worthless, but if you're that desperate to be level 34, ignore the negatives and bite the damn bullet with that gear. Then you could get E.Light from the 34 PoE and start worrying about stats and fashion.

Run 32 POE and get the armor to get to level 33 or 34. Then run 34 where it is a guaranteed drop. This weeks 34 boss is extremely easy so take the opportunity before time runs out.

Meh 32 isn't that bad. I still play better than most 34s. Thats good enough for me. I just don't have the luxary of playing during peak hours, nor dedicating my life to Destiny (I work 2 jobs), I also seem to have bad luck getting nice groups from recruitment and/or Destiny LFG. I get groups of doichbags who kick uou because you aren't 34 with a Maxed Gjallarhorn, or they kick you at the chest so their clanmate can join. People are scum. Just. Enjoy what you can & come The Taken King you'll be able to surpass 32 on your own. Without havingnto rely on the community. Etheric Light should be available to all playerbases. Hardcore should get the Largest Amount, Casual should get a medium amount, Solo/Semi-Casual should get the lowest amount. When you think of it. Every method added for the casual/solo playerbase would be more light for the Hardcores. But the Hardcore players would rather ostracize folks over light lvl & RNG drops so they feel special.

Unless you just run around in circles while patrolling the worlds, you should be at least 33 the first week HoW came out.

Put a fireteam together and go do the level 32 PoE arena. This will give you an armor core that you can trade to Variks for a piece of light level 42 (level 34) armor. 2. One piece of that armor plus one ascended piece of exotic armor (only requires an exotic shard, not etheric light) will get you to level 33...and make you competitive in doing this weeks level 34 Arena. Which will give you a Weapon Core and one Etheric Light. Its only "rare" if you dont' have the HoWs and are relying SOLELY on getting it from the Nightfall. In which case---again---that's not Bungie's fault. If you don't have HoWs, you're just going to have to suck it up, and start playing Iron Banner. That's at least three guarenteed Etheric Lights per month.

Yea no doubt you are doing it wrong. I had 2 characters level 34 within two or three days of xpac. Try looking up a guide to help you. The only reason you aren't above 32 yet is your own fault.

Have you not done the 32 PoE? I never do PvP either and I had characters at 33 1/2 on the first day the DLC dropped.

Play the level 32 mode of PoE. Get armour cores and buy armour to level up. Then play the level 34 and 35 versions. Bang, Etheric Light.

I don't play anything but patrol if I have to. I want that Trials Adept scout rifle with solar damage and I haven't gotten it yet. This is unacceptable! Sarcasm aside, some stuff is only earned certain ways. If you want it, play the modes that drop it. I don't like PvP as much as PvE, but I played IB to buy some light and ToO to for the chance at the weapons. I don't have the time to raid 6 times a week, so I still don't have a vex. The truth is, we don't need three 34s today. That gives is something to work toward until September.

Use LFG website and find yourself a fireteam for PoE. Try out ToO. You don't need to go flawless, but at least get 8 wins. until Bungie decides to have some kind of Fireteam finder in the game, LFG is where its at.

Mostly b/c you're doing the wrong thing. You couldn't get raid gear from doing strikes and you won't get much if any light from doing the same. You need to do PoE. Get some core... Use said armor and do higher ones. Once you get enough, do 34. I done 34 once and got light

I've gotten a ton most of my everyday weapons are already 365 just need my hunger and black hammer then I'll be good.
