It's due to a bug with the Hunter's "Swarm Grenade" and the Armour perk "Ashes to Asset".
Ashes to Asset - Kills with Grenades grant additional Super energy.
Swarm Grenades grant additional Super energy every time they hit something, allowing a Hunter to get Golden Gun in the first round (and possibly every round) of Trials as long as at least 5 of the Swarm rounds hit.
My team and I have lost several games to teams of 3 Golden Gun hunters doing this exploit, and they will get banned for it - I can assure you.
They are intentionally exploiting the game to give themselves an unfair advantage over regular players.

You dont get banned from it. its not like running away to avoid a loss or lagswitch... you earn your armor and grnades and bungie did not come out and say dont use these two combinations or you'll be banned. you can use it as much as you want till Bungie patch it

Nobody will likely be banned for this, its entirely possible to do this accidentally quite frequently, to top things of banning someone for something they potentially didn't know about is dumb, its a not even a glitch really in fact its not even a bug it was an oversight that allows this to occur, whoever implemented the ashes to asset perk probably wasn't aware about the swarm grenades effect on supers, or if they were probably forgot about it. its not cheating they didn't find some way to get god mode, they accidentally found an oversight that gives them super faster and for this to even occur at a "game" breaking level you need a very specific armor piece that accelerates its in addition to having armor with ashes to asset. its not unfair if everyone has the opportunity to do it, if you don't have a hunter make one, level up and enjoy it while its here. on the same subject why is it fair for a warlock to have the longest melee in the game and get a shield just for hitting someone ? titans have to kill for their melee shield to proc, hunters have to rely on titans to run defended to get a shield. warlocks should have to kill to get their shields to proc. especially now that theres the ram helmet.
