No matchmaking. Shut your pie hole. In order for matchmaking to work the content would have to be so dumbed down and easy there would be no point.
In your embarassment above (original post) you seem to stupid to understand why matchmaking is a horrible idea.
Bump.
If a clan requires Gjallarhorn, report them and they should get banned. Or, join a clan with common sense and skill and enough members to carry you until you can carry new members in return. Gjallarhorn should never be a requirement. People who say it should deserve to be trolled like the little B1tch they are.
Suggested OMM design that addresses both cheesesteak and atomsk's valid concerns ;)
The following addresses th3cuben0's concern showing the Community wants OMM.

If all players were actually skilled enough I could see matchmaking work. Coming from crucible matching you can see that 90% of players are not skilled enough for raids. And raids are much easier than pvp.
I didn't read your post. But don't include in your title, from the community. How about you write to bungie, and just have a poll for the community to participate. Don't speak for other people with your own ideas.
It won't happen it would make it to easy to do end game content people would then find out there is a total lack of content and stop playing. Everything in this game is Aimed at dragging out content

At current, our philosophy about endgame content is that part of the challenge includes forming up a team. This is a strong community filled with players who are looking for teammates. Why not seek each other out here and band together?

Dear Deej,
This has been touched on many instances throughout time. You've seen the community and their suggestions, you've heard it from publications such as "IGN", "Forbes", and many others. There has been an internal discussion with Bungie employees.. Yet this is the message we get. "Part of the challange is forming a team." Is this the message you and the team at Bungie are happy with? Is this how you want the game to be?
You have seen the statistics for yourself. Only 20% of the community have ever completed a raid. That's 80% of Destiny's population that have been isolated from the in-game content that has been granted to us. This is a very disturbing figure to me. What will keep those players coming back for more? What is the reason those players haven't taken time to complete the content? These are question I want you, yourself, to question. There is no need to comment on it. Just let the seed work its course and come to fruition.
There is a problem. Part of the challenge should not be seeking out random individuals from the internet to complete activities. Dare I say, your comments on matchmaking and the decisions at Bungie are nothing short of lazy. There is no reason. No matchmaking fixes nothing. I'm sure you want us to be able to communicate as a team as not to diminish the overall quality of the content. I understand that. The community may or may not react negatively for that simple reason. Under qualified individuals can ruin the experience for the team as a whole. This should seriously be taken into consideration, as I'm sure it has, when it comes to the discussion of matchmaking. However, the game of Destiny is an open discussion. Always paving the way forward in a collaborative way. We are all here, in this future together..
This is why I strongly urge the team at Bungie to put the issues of matchmaking at the top of the list. I'd like to see some sort of options when it comes to completing content in the game. Nobody likes the idea of, "go do it yourself". That's the message you're sending. That's the message we are getting. This is an issue that needs to be worked on. There should be no more putting it off. Atleast let us know that Bungie is finding a fix.
As last reported, over 12,000,000 gaurdians have roamed the ground created by Bungie. Only 3,000,000 of those gaurdians have laid eyes on what truely makes Destiny a rewarding experience. (I'm sure these statistics aren't up to date) However, its a truely discouraging number. And to those of us that have wanted to complete the content this game has to offer, each week.. It's even more discouring finding people to do it with us.

I'll end my letter by saying this;

(I want you to relay this message for me, Deej)
The future of Destiny will be forged by thinking differently, breaking paradigms and joining together in a shared vision of tackling the toughest challenges before us.
With diligence,

You have to sell a philosophy that people like , otherwise it won't sell . I'm sure there are plenty of other companies who would love to pick up the slack .
