Why no America in destiny
I want an American shader and usa flag Titan mark, maybe a red, white, and blue eagle projection for a warlock, and an American flag hood

Story-wise nationality really doesn't matter. We all live in one place under a broken god, well except those that are now "living" in the reef now. As for America based items like shaders and all that. It sounds interesting, but if they did that they would have to make items for every portion of the world for everybody which would just be more pointless work that would take away from time they should be working on Taken King, polishing it so that it's actually good. Which Wolves was a step in the right direction, but it felt like there was a cliff hanger, which "to finally complete the story you have to go to level 35 Prison of Elders to kill Skolas, for realzies."

4 RisposteI'm an American and as much this country has gone too Hell recently, I still love it and hope for a brighter future.... on that note, I hate the idea of American themed gear... incredibly stupid idea.. this goes for any country themed items... keep destiny a fantasy sci-fi game... I want to believe the world has come together as one entity that represents earth...not reminded of a bunch of greedy capitalist, fascist or communist factions all screaming there better than one another and trying to impose there will amongst each other

I do believe there was concept art for Old Chicago before the game launched so chances are we'll get there eventually. Besides, Destiny takes place very far in the future in a post apocalyptic world, without any obvious American landmarks ( Statue of Liberty, Golden Gate Bridge, Space Needle, Washington Monument, Mount Rushmore, etc ) I doubt the average gamer would be able to tell they are in America anyway.
