PSA Weapons of Light doesnt affect Gjallarhorn!
Or Any rockets that have proximity detonation, It will do the same damage with or without WoL.
EDIT FOR THE IDIOTS: Ghorn has proximity detonation. Therefore impact has no bearing on how much damage it does. So, if impact doesn't have an affect on damage, and WoL increases impact... WoL has no affect on ghorn!

EDIT 2: wow this post blew up, The reason I posted was because I noticed Tons of groups burning Skolas with Ghorn and using weapons. Personally I'd take BoL over the [i]chance[/i] of a 8% buff
EDIT 3: Wolfpack rounds are 100% never affected by WoL apparently there is a small chance that the proximity detonation doesn't work in which case the initial impact of the rocket IS affected however the chance of this is extremely low!

WoL does add to the initial impact but does not add anything to the Wolfpacks impact.

1 RispondiBlessing of light is awesome and I use it a lot but if it's been proven that weapons of light does buff the ghorn then why wouldn't you want to give the most powerful weapon in the game a further 8% buff? I mean, 8% isn't nothing. Especially if your team are trying to drop the enemy as quick as possible.

3 RisposteWho wouldn't rather blessing over weapons? At least in the case of burning skolas. Regardless of proximity proc, or direct impact Wol brings little to the table. Blessing can prevent a one shot, I will take it all day. My group only fires enough rockets to break the bonds, dismantle mines as a team, juggle the fart cloud, then finish him. Wol has no value in my opinion.

48 RisposteMy raid team and I have many tests to prove this wrong. We have tested it out an ads and bosses. We tried it with WoL and without it and it took more Gjallarhorns to kill a boss without WoL than it did with. We did plenty of math on the damage outputs and found WoL does help. We all checked are math and proved it was wrong. If you want me to link you the video of us testing and link a picture of our math I would be more than glad to. [b]Summary If You're Too Lazy To Read:[/b] My team and I have done tests and math to prove WoL does work. Therefore use it I promise it will do more!

I've reached a point where I don't care about the WOL - I'd rather have BOL and keep everyone alive - unless you can burn something down with gally before adds starting attacking, better off shielded and alive (alive does most damage) On VOG sniping - WOL !

I am going to say yes it may help, but not as much as you think. I would rather run blessing of light on 35 poe this week so I can not be one shoted (assuming your doing gally strat). If your using snipers then we'll you have to use weapons of light

It's not extremely low, most of my hits get the impact damage on them, but yeah weapons of light doesn't huff the explosion or wolf pack damage

WOL certainly does work. I read on these very forums that it doesn't help so I used BOL instead. We struggled for a half hour on skolas. Switched back to WOL and melted him on the first try. So my conclusion is that it makes a difference.
