Made it to Lvl 5 Iron Banner without firing a Thorn once. Who else is with me?
I hate the Thorn. I have a Thorn. I don't use the Thorn in PVP, cause I'm not a nob. Who else can say the same?
Edit: Jesus, wasn't expecting so many replies. Good to see so many people enjoy playing without Thorn as much as I do. For people asking, I used Mida for bigger maps and TLW for smaller. Both are considered powerful weapons, but I'd argue they both have very balanced disadvantages, specifically related to range. Where as Thorn has no such disadvantage, it's just two shot and hide. Yawn.

i use TLW but not thorn

+1. Did use R Death and mida but. Had more trouble with camping/blink shotgunners than thorn users.

I maxed out only using a Thorn, no special and only five kills with heavy because I had the bounty, which I never completed. Many enemies did not die and I commend them for being smart players. Many more did die, but given my K/D, one can tell I am not very skilled at PVP and Thorn is my favorite weapon besides Gjallarhorn. WoC is my go to gun in PVE, Gjallarhorn is not useful on any maps in PVP.

I didn't until the matchmaking put my team against a friend of mines team and that's all they were using.

I never play pvp but had the thorn bounty. I played a couple of days iron banner and managed to get to level 4. Should I buy the boots and gauntlets??

I used it a couple times, but I rocked Hawkmoon, Necrochcasm and Red Death for the majority of it.

1 Rispondii have one but havent used it, in the right hands the aegis of the kell rock thorn users. and usually i only die by thorn due to dot proc if my aim is a little off

I used a 300 Praedyths timepiece to get two of my characters to rank 3!

I got one to 5 and 2 to 4 using mida, party crasher +1/ techuan force and jolders hammer / radeghasts fury
