Ive been playing since the beta. Ive put a lot of time in and i really enjoyed when HoW dropped.
Now im just burnt out. It was way too fast to get to 34. POE is not that important anymore. Trials is fun with a couple buddies whether you win or lose. But because not everyone has the patience for it my buddies are not wanting to do it.
People on the forums take it way too personal and scream at others because they didnt do better which i hate because its a damn game.
So i have nothing left to look forward to playing in the game. Anyone else feeling the same?

I still have only 1 34 I think. Might be 2 but too lazy to check. Got a crap load of things left to do.

3 RisposteTry doing some of these 'personnal achievements' i make for myself to keep things interesting: -all characters to 34 -ascend all legendary weapons/armor for diff sets for pvp/pve -do the flawless raider achievement -go 9-0 in trials Some of this stuff will take you awhile, just try to persevere past and keep motivation

I feel like bungie is kicking the can down the road till taken King drops They've stopped putting effort into the current meta of destiny That's why the crucible has been unbalanced for this long
-
This was the first dlc where rng wasn't the deciding factor if you hit max level.
-
im also feeling a little burnt out aswell, ive taken a few days away from my ps4 altogether but i will get back on for reset for nightfalls and 34 poe's for etheric light, but once i have elder scrolls online i shall be full time on that
-
Ya the game is at a stand still just boring now and raids are a joke now too easy
-
Just like the donkey who gets tired after chasing the carrot on a stick. Stop chasing treats and just go play to have some fun and shoot stuff.
-
10 RisposteI felt that way in October, so I sold the game. I just came back a few days ago. I have no idea how people have played this since launch.
-
There is honestly zero point in me playing anymore. PoE gear is shit. ToO is simply not worth my rage and patience, just to get some armor pieces with the perks I want.... Because bungie will nerf arround sooner or later, ruin handcannons and I'll have to adapt my playstyle again. Perks will be rendered useless. I had all characters on 34 after the first week. Great, where is the challenge?

24 RisposteIronically restarting and making a new account makes it really fun again. Just speaking from experience

run trials, so fun.

3 RisposteModificato da InTheDOGHOUSE: 6/8/2015 5:31:19 AMHouse is wolves ruined it for me Too much emphasis on pvp Looking forward to new games coming out and I played far less this past weekend than I have in months The rewards in the prisons vs trials is pathetic - queens weapons overall suck They screwed up with the longevity for house of wolves and alienated the pve players and pvp players drastically -and the forums show all the hate Just seeing it all has turned me off to destiny

Definitely. HoW drop was really fun, but the fact it was relatively easy to have all my guys to 34 on day one really got me down. I admit I play a lot and put a lot of effort into the game but nothing should be this easy. They made the game way to easy. The original grind to 30 is what kept me loving this game and they have gotten away from that.

1 RispondiLay down dear guardian. Your days of dealing with full team of thorns are over.
-
only thing im not burnt out from is ToO PoE is frustrating and no fun everything else is just old and iv already played too much of it
-
Pretty much. Got my main to 34 ( too easily I might add ) because they say your char will carry over to D2, then it became getting my Lock and Hunter there but I just cbf'd. I'll thrash Far Cry for a while and pop in every now and then.
-
Yeah, I'm pretty much there. I've been playing since beta, and since ToO came out, I have been grinding PvP to get the gear. But without a good team to practice and hone our skills, I have reached a wall in a sense, and feel like there is no point in playing and spending time in ToO if I don't receive anything while doing it. PoE is alright, but has nothing I really want. So I'm stuck at a point where the gear and weapons I would like to get are out of my reach. I have tried to find players, but everyone quits out after two losses. No one wants to grind it out, and I can understand why since drop rates in ToO are rare, which they should be. But who wants to play for ten hours and leave with nothing? Plus with work and school, I just don't have the time I'd like, to put more time into getting better. Do that's my story, lol. ToO is a lot of fun when you aren't loading every other match. Lol

Nope I almost was 2 weeks ago
-
I am feeling exactly the same. Coming from beta and played the crap out of Destiny. Leaving for 2 moths then coming back for HoW. Honestly ill keep coming back just to see how its changed and play now and then but ill mostly be back on PC.
-
Not even close, but I have The Witcher 3 ready for when I am.
-
Same boat as you. Regular crucible is pretty boring as well at this point. It would be fun if I could convince my friends to keep playing trials after we already got our awards just because it's more competitive. Destiny just doesn't have enough content.
-
I'm actually hoping to get to that point soon. Destiny has kept me from a lot of other games, and Batman: Arkham Knight is coming out in a couple weeks. It'll be nice to take a break for a while, but I'll miss my friends.
-
Its completely natural to burn out on a game after a while, I lost interest after starting the process of re upgrading exotics when TDB hit. I took a 2-3 month break, came back slowly and now I am enjoying it almost as much as before, I even did the 35 POE 3 times this week and got 2 friends to pick it up again! No game can have truly endless new content and so will eventually get old to almost everyone when you start to lose the intrinsic enjoyment of playing. Try out something different , witcher 3, fallout4 and you might be surprised to find yourself rediscovering it again in the future.

1 RispondiNot really, I've been taking it slow. Today was the most I played in a long time. I was trying to upgrade my ghorn. After I upgrade it I'll take a couple days off for sure.

We just ran VOG normal with four that had never done it. One dropped out but we finished it with five. Felt great. Took a little while but worth it.
