Seriously. I've seen topics saying crap like, "The Stranger's Rifle needs to be a Legendary, then you can convert it to a Exotic!". Honestly, it's not even a really great weapon. Sure, I've had my fair share of the Stranger's Rifle, but that was back when I was, what, rank 17? Once you get something like Time on Target or 55A ALLFATE, or even 123 Syzygy, it's pretty useless. So my opinion? No. It does not need to be Legendary or an Exotic, mainly because it's too easy to get. And it's bad. What do you guys think?

3 RisposteThat's mostly a call from Crucible players. The Stranger's rifle is pretty mean in standard crucible.
-
1 RispondiIt's the poor mans vex
-
2 RisposteIts bad because you are comparing a rare weapon to a legendary!!!!!
-
2 RisposteJust stop

1 RispondiIt's a unique blue weapon that's stuck at lvl 18 or was it 16? I don't remember. Either way it's an endgame weapon that looses it's value as soon as you find or buy a legendary weapon. It's the same deal with the Khvostov. It's unique, unlike any other weapon and people want to be able to "ascend" them.

4 RisposteStranger's Rifle is now the Fate of All Fools.
-
It's a pretty good crucible weapon actually
-
I have better blue pulse rifles. Glad ppl overlook rares because some are op af
-
1 RispondiNot a crucible player, I assume? It's up there with red death for my preferred pulse rifles in pvp
-
It looks way cooler than any of the legendary/exotic pulse rifles, yet it is a blue. It also wrecks shit in the normal crucible without level advantages. Plus I mean, look how awesome it's ADS is!
-
It's nastalgia th at makes people want this
-
Its the end story weapon its mystical haha
-
2 RisposteIt's one of the best crucible weapons
-
It would be interesting. Make it hard to upgrade and it would be awesome tbh. It's a gun with history and if done right could be a newbie's intro to exotics.
-
2 RisposteThink about this: both Dark Below and House of Wolves grant you a legendary upon completing the story for the expansion (Murmur and Vestian Dynasty, although the sidearm was obtained from first story mission) I'm sure some people are like "If that's the case, then why the hell Vanilla version gave us a rare gun instead of a legendary?!"

4 RisposteSigh. It would be a BEAST in Iron Banner and I would be using it if I could upgrade the attack level.... And yes I have the 55 ALLFATE , coiled hiss and Time on Target
-
8 RisposteI totally needs to be able to become legend. I used it on each of my chars the second I could, it was dirty. It obviously doesn't compare to a legendary since it's not though.
