There's no events for PVE. I absolutely hate PVP even though I'm really good at it.

I'm rank 3.75 now and started playing wednesday. I play maybe 1 hour a day of Iron Banner - that's all I can tolerate before the Lag Switchers and other modding ilk get me raging. I more or less stopped playing with friends in IB because I don't want to break their ear drums with my noise. You really need to buy the "Buff" token thing (for a mote of light each day), and make sure you fill those Iron Banner Bounties. The Buff increases each day and can really add up by the weekend. Also, if you have not done so, make sure you have completed the Night Fall, because that 20% XP bonus helps too. Lastly, don't forget that losing a match nets you a coin (up to 5), which on your next win gets turned into bonus IB points too.

You are not forced to play pvp. But you can't blame Bungie to reward good pvp players. If You only play pve then you play only a part of the game and , of course, you have only access to some of the content. That all make sense

Im annoyed by playing Iron Banner all weekend and KILLING it but struggling to get wins (thus Iron Banner points) to rank up and buy ETHERIC LIGHT. It's nearly impossible to get that shit.

So let's get this straight: It's not unfair because pvpers can get kight; It's unfair because it is supposedly too hard to get etheric light via pve Keep in mind that IB occurs once a month. ToO, 3 days a week. But if you're a low level you can't get light so easily in ToO. PvE has Nightfall, Raids, and PoE. All can drop Light. Perhaps the rate just needs to be increased, or; zero deaths in your weekly Nightfall run guarantees an etheric light? Allowing you to reach max level on one character in one week, if you are able to attain one etheric light from elsewhere.

I only run IB with one 365 weapon equipped. If you're not good at pvp right now then stay at it. I'm not the best but I have come a long way since starting in November.

I play all PvE and PvP events and I have all my guns and armour maxed at 365. At this point I actually have spare light sitting on each character.

14 Risposte1) Do 32 PoE for armor core 2) Equip new armor and exotic to be 33 3) Do the 34 PoE So Easy.... Idk why people complain. You could also win 5 osiris matches at 33 to get a 42 piece of armor. Getting to 34 is wayyyyy easier than getting to 32 last dlc or 30 before that

PvP ways to get etheric light iron bannor for 1 week with a max of 6 etheric lights Pve ways to get etheric light Poe 34 and 35 6 max per week Nightfall I have had 3 in 17 nightfalls( I play on both Xboxone and ps4) Total infinite. So your saying PvP 6 etheric light > pve infinite etheric light. Do math not meth 6 per week guarenteed is greater than 6 one week. Don't give me the excuse that you don't have enough time to play. You cant expect to be the best at something if you don't put in a massive chunk of time into it.

I'm a regular pvp player and i got one from it. Much easier to obtain from PoE; remember, IB comes once a month.

I'm a casual and I just reached 34 today. Some advice would be do the poe 32 and buy some gear from varkis and then grind iron banner as you said to buy one and then upgrade some exotic gear with a shard. As for weapons there not as important as gear I think cause you won't be able to move on to poe 34/35. Then u get weapons cores and buy some and upgrade a few exotic weapons and boom you are on your way. I have only done poe 32 but so far as a casual I'm happy with my progress. You had to upgrade weapons with Etheric light just so you'd do well? Heck I'm using some weapons with about 280 max and they do just fine. I don't claim al all to be the best player but so long as there is no lag I do okay enough for this event.

So I'm not sure what your goal is...is it to be lvl 34, to have 365 weapons or have higher kdr in PvP? If it's the lvl and weapons you could do what I did focus all on one characters weapon and gear with PoE armor and weapon cores. If your already at lvl 32 one armor core piece will put you at lvl 32.5. Beating PoE 32 with more than one character will net you 2 Etheric lights to update 2 more of your gear putting you 33.5. To hit that lvl 34 use an exotic shard to one the last piece of gear to hit 34...I made sure my last piece I had to do this was a helmet but that was week one of HoW. Not that hard see. If your goal is to have a higher KDR in PvP well its either practice more which will help only so much or do what I suggested above for say two weeks so that you can spend your EI'S on weapons. After a few weeks you should have some wiggle room with your gear to stand a better chance in PvP matches. Suggestions for weapons to upgrade would be if you have the guns of course Vision...great gun for mid to long range. This helps a ton in PoE and PvP. Thorn will end up getting nerfed just because the after impact damage is making matches more about piss poor aim as long as you hit the other player anywhere. Hope this helps and keep your head up bro.

I just got my first Etheric Light last night from Iron Banner on level 3. Now I'm finally at level 33. Just keep going and you'll get one.

Do the bounties for Iron Banner, I reckon I will have 2 at level 5 soon. As to PoE, I just can't get through on 32, yet I can do crucible. Rubbish on Warlock (neg neg neg) Good on Titan and Hunter (went 5.67 one match yesterday) Iron banner is pretty easy. Today went on with hunter and got 10- kills before death, 2 MG streak. So just go on and practice. Bad Juju is a good weapon BTW
