After the vault of glass weapons have been ascended not many are even worth the etheric light. Im sitting on some because I dont even know what to use it on.

It's so easy now to get to 34 and 34 this week is so easy I think the only hard 34 is the vex one !!! Genraly it's not that hard and I don't even have a gally !!!

2 RisposteDidn't BUNGiE say that Radiant Energy & Ascendant Shards to upgrade weapons & armor was a mistake? So they replace it with Etheric Light, an even harder to get substance. Well I got enough to have one level 34 at least. Now I'm taking all next week off from this game as I'm felling burnt out from Iron Banner.

6 RisposteIf you go on Iron Banner with a 2nd and 3rd character it is a lot faster to rank them up, due to a buff that Bungie included this week to help everyone's weaker characters catch up to their mains. Honestly if you started IB today with your 3rd character you can literally get to IB rank 3 in about 4 matches without even completing the bounties.

So if you're having trouble with the thorn bounty, wait until IB and ToO are running at the same time, and then just go play regular control in crucible. Should be much easier. Then, if successful (stick at it!) upgrade it with an exotic shard, and hey presto, you are better equipped for the next IB. Also, try with a fireteam, it's a much better experience. Good luck.

6 RisposteI'm a core gamer and got plenty. It's really easy to get and even easier if you make a second farming character. Running two 34 PoE and one 32 will get you to a rough 34 and running a third will get you to max. On one character you can get 4 light per week. 2 from the prison and 2 or 3 from the Trials. If you have a farming character that's 8 per week.

2 RisposteThis is pure crap! I have one character play a few days a week and by all accounts would qualify as casual! I've had 5-6 of em more then enough to level up characters or pick my fav weapons! Play the prison of elders for garanteed drops and trials of Osiris has 2 from reward packages you don't have to be good to score 7-8 wins a week

I agree with you that etheric light is ridiculous. I can't beat 34-35 PoE, I haven't tried ToO, and as a result i'm getting my first etheric light this week through Iron Banner. I'm no pvp player but this is my 4th Iron Banner, I think. I used to hate it, I did the grind for the armor back in the day. But you know what happened? After playing nothing but pvp for a week, and then the month after that, i got better at it. You'll learn the maps, don't worry. You'll learn the death zones, the traps, the shortcuts, the detours. And once you know the secrets, it'll be easier to stay alive. My advice: don't bother using etheric light on weapons. Save it for armor pieces that can get you to level 34 with good stats (and/or good looks B) Get an exotic primary. The MIDA Xur sold this weekend would have been an excellent crucible weapon. Red Death is another great option.
