As the game currently stands, the Prison of Elders weapons have been the most useless end-game weapons to be released so far. It's not solely because of the Shank Burn/Dreg Burn issue, but because of the fact that those perks take up a main perk slot. They're not like Oracle Disruptor or Hive Disruptor, and sit below a main perk in the upgrade tree, they eat up a main perk entirely. There were a few weapons that dropped during Crota's End which had their unique perks that were rather useless for anything outside of fighting hive, like Dark Breaker and Lich Bane, but this time around EVERY weapon is in that boat. The perks themselves really don't help remedy the issue at all either just because of how weak they are.
Shank Burn? ~123 bonus damage to Shanks
Dreg Burn? ~123 bonus damage to Dregs
Vandal Burn? ~123 bonus damage to Vandals
Demotion? A low chance of stunning Fallen Captains
Mutineer? A low chance of suppressing a Fallen Captain's abilities
Disciplinarian? 75 bonus damage to Fallen enemies
And you thought THOSE justify taking up a main perk slot? I could see Mutineer or Demotion ending up as a main perk on maybe the Servant of Aksor just because it's Arc damage and doesn't really need any more perks, but why Bungie? Why make the Prison of Elders weapons so underwhelming compared to the Vault of Glass and Crota's End weapons? These weapons were always so interesting to get since they weren't bound by the 'perk 1 slot' and 'perk 2 slot' rule, they could have a Perk which was normally restricted to the first slot in the second if they wanted to and vice versa. They could also end up like Fatebringer and have a perk which that weapon class normally couldn't get on its own.
So please, Bungie, redo the Prison of Elders perks. Get rid of them entirely except for maybe Disciplinarian, give us a real perk on the weapons such as Feeding Frenzy and the like, and move Disciplinarian (Or a Fallen Disruptor perk) to a node under the second perk. Make them actually feel worth using alongside the other Raid Weapons, because as they currently stand they're about as useful as Rare weapons. If you guys really have no intention to ever rework the perks on the weapons, at the least let us reroll them at Variks to try to get a different Fallen-themed perk!
Share your thoughts below and let's try to keep this bumped up for Bungie to see.
-tl;dr-
The current perk upgrades on the Prison of Elders weapons are far too weak to be justified as main perks; please remove them entirely and add in a real second perk to each of the Prison of Elders weapons alongside Disciplinarian or a real Fallen Disruptor as a special perk underneath the second perk like Oracle Disruptor and Hive Disruptor were.
EDIT: Someone suggested that we should be able to reroll our Fallen-specific perks at Variks through giving him a Weapon Core. The idea of that was to remedy having to obtain the weapon itself numerous times. It was also specifically stated that the Primary weapons should have static elements in regards to the rerolling, which means if you have a Void Wolves' Leash II you don't have to worry about it becoming Solar and vice versa. Although this isn't the best solution to this, I think it's a pretty fair idea and would be OK with the system for the time being.

Yes. PoE loot sucks. They need something.
-
Bungie should redo the pricing structure and stop taking the piss out of players, parity for all! poe is fine btw..
-
2 RisposteIdk ive beat 34 and 35 a bunch havnt had or even seen a HoW weapon drop. Heard they suck tho.
-
3 RisposteModificato da CCXGT: 6/21/2015 12:21:24 AMObvious-fucking-ly... There is simply NO point in any PoE weapon right now and I doubt they'll change anything. They already got their cash, what do they gain from changing anything?
-
Bump bump
-
They should but they're not going to.
-
2 RisposteShank burn is decent for the stupid shields ones in Nightfalls. But other than that, it is completely stupid
-
1 RispondiConsidering I have a solar HC with DREG burn... I'm gonna go with yes
-
-
Yeah, I was kinda sad that there wasn't a Fallen Disrupter perk, or that they didn't at least put the unique perks in their own little slot like the other Raid weapons. If they could do just that, or give us a chance to reroll them like you said, I'd be happy with that.

Modificato da JaykoBlanco: 6/21/2015 12:19:03 AMThey should've been bonus perks, like oracle disrupter or hive breaker. No one ever complained about those because the guns that had those two had 2 legit perks. Seriously ALL raid weapons that have racial perks should be bonus perks. Besides all the Skolas weapons Oversoul Edict Song of Ir Yut Abyss Defiant Should be reworked also Getting a rocket launcher with shank burn on it would be so disappointing if it has two legit perks and shank burn was a bonus Edit: just read the TLDR. My thoughts exactly. I was thinking that mutineer would be a good perk on the sniper if it was a big chance

2 RisposteSniper is cool
-
No...now we have weapons for the Vex, Hive and Fallen...to easy
-
Shank burn 3 op

1 RispondiShouldnt we be taking about something more important like bungee why the hell are we playing more money again for dlc when you have already took a lot of money from this game my game cost £50 then my dlc £30 something ! Activision has you in there pockets ;-) considering all of this should have been in the original concept ! Give the players what they want for there loyalty and don't hold out for more money when clearly you don't need it !

Did 35 again...kinetic pistol (delete) pulled judgement chance, got the scout rifle i wanted with kinetic. (delete) f off bungie. I havent even read the stats your talking about because i stop reading when i see white lettering.
-
1 RispondiGive them real perks for the main two, and give them and extra node for disciplinarian or Fallen Disruptor. I don't see why these "raid weapons" are any different.
-
I thought I read PoE had endgame content. I haven't seen anything near the power of a raid weapon. The fusion is nice. The hand cannon is awesome but all primary should be elemental like all other end game primaries. Not some all. I call bullshit. And why the hell does a PoE gun only effect ¼ of the enemies? Also shank burn doesn't do shit. They die as quick as any weapon kills them.

3 RisposteMine disruptor: (for critical objectives) Increased damage to mines Decreased dismantle time on mines Wardens blessing: (for juggler) Precision damage (in Poe) has a small chance to grant bonus reserve ammunition Poison control: (Skolas poison) Skolas poison takes slightly longer before taking effect (5 second increase?) Pocket chamber: (small arms for specials/heavy) This weapon is granted small arms bonus during a round with the small arms modifier.

2 RispostePlease no, my friend would be sad if he lost his arc hand cannon with shank burn :(
-
2 RisposteI picked no without reading your argument because I assumed it would be about rerolling raid weapon perks. After reading it I agree these prison of elders weapons need better perks. I love my six dreg pride II (void), but it doesn't feel on par with the weapons that came before.
-
They should also redo drop rate. Should be guaranteed with Skolas kill. 2/3 of the weapons I wouldn't even keep so it's still high odds I'll leave with "nothing."

-
1 RispondiCause shank burn is really useful. Lol. ;)
-
1 RispondiI'd say demotion, vandal burn, and disciplinarian are the only good ones.
