Hey bungie I officially have a problem with your pve arena forever eater. I thought it was just me when I attemted it all last week on lv34 with every character and multiple team mates and was not able to complete it once for a very detailed reason. Then comes this weeks lv 32 the same thing and yet the same problems turn up. #1 the last and final round is impossibly predictable and there are too many factors that result in team failure because of the games own incapabilities. #2 the vex that needs to be taken out to destroy the detainment bubbles is very hard to locate and sometimes doesn't reveal himself untile the last second. #3 the time in which is received from killing said vex is either too short or the detain bubbles come into affect late within the 25 sec time frame or after the time is up and my team dies in bubbles. Now what makes my 4th and final point is that all of this has happened not once or twice but every time the final level is reset or when I enter it. Why this continues to happen I dont know but it is getting in the way of many gardians path to victory and not just mine or my clans. Thanks for reading and comment if uve seen these issues and hopefully this is fixed properly.

Use invective on the containment shield or found verdict and stay out of sight, if you've already taken damage before being contained you're gonna have a bad time
-
The eye supposedly spawns on the left side (or did last week), and doesn't readily charge players if they post up on the right end of the map. This could be what's causing the difficulty. Admittedly, last week my group just got fed up and went the ghally route after trying to do it legit for over an hour, so I feel you on this one. Didn't find out about his spawn point till a couple days ago.

Two weapons make this fight a breeze. Gally and Found Verdict. 3 365 gallys can but him down before he even gets the chance to detain you (fire all ammo then use synth and repeat). A 365 Found Verdict can take out the bubble in one mag without jailbreaker buff so it is infinitely valuable.
-
Its so hard without found verdict *it can destroy the detain shield*
-
I was playing with two halfwitted randoms the other day and somehow we managed to beat it. Just make sure your team always has a rocket for that one vex walking around clearly highlighted. It's more important to kill him than anything else.
-
9 RisposteTry harder. Not being mean. Just being honest. Its not suppose to be a cake walk.
-
Did it. Wasn't hard. Get good scrub. You no go my Gally? Uninstall
-
1 RispondiImpossibly predictable
-
Use explosive rounds on a gun. Take out all 3 shields with 5 shots.
-
It's called super good advice. Infinite detainment shield rounds.

2 RisposteModificato da Luckdog26: 6/4/2015 8:55:27 AMAt level 33 you can destroy the level 32 Detainment shields WITHOUT Jailbreaker with no problems at all. Honestly. You just need to have good communication and team work. That is the only thing required. Also, keep in mind the final round has now been nerfed as of update 1.2.0.2. Which I personally find unfortunate because now it's WAY too easy. Use a fully levelled up shotgun or a fully leveled Icebreaker for those shields, and they melt in no time. Icebreaker can now 1 or 2 shot a Detainment shield.

You suck.

1) Use paragraphs please. 2) I soloed it and If I can do that it's not as difficult as it seems. 3) If you can't find the eye then -blam!- it just blast your way out with shotgun. 4) Focus adds instead of boss. They respawn on boss health not a timer. 5) If you can break the bubble without the buff (found verdict works well) then spilt up your team to other sides of the map - this will spread out adds. I used - Jewel of Osiris -Found Verdict - Ghorn or Corrective measure. I used rockets on adds if I had them then when I was out I swapped to corrective measure. This gives me the surplus bonus on my heavy but works so I can pick up more special ammo as well. If I saw a heavy drop Id swap to Ghorn and get 4 rockets from that one drop. Instead of moaning about the fight, think about ways to beat it so when you do it will feel a lot better than killing a weak boss.

1 RispondiA friend of mine&me 2 manned it. Probably because we're both 34 but.. I'm thankful I don't have to deal with level differences :>
-
If you go to the right which you should he comes straight down the right side and goes behind the structure and then into the tunnelish thing when he gets there kill him so you get the key and enough time and he's actually extremely predictable

1 RispondiModificato da Boltarok: 6/4/2015 9:05:50 AMI used 365 found verdict
-
2 RisposteUse a 365 found verdict and you can easily destroy detainment shields without the jailbreaker perk. No need to search for the Eye or be out of position.
-
Done it 3 times this week and haven't wiped once. Did it without the gally spam. You don't even need to kill the goblin. Just shotgun the shield
-
Its easy: https://youtu.be/hkJITU1NLtE

I just two manned level 32.... Legit killing qodrons eye and everything. It's so simple it hurts.
-
Easy both times.. Duoed it twice yesterday and beat it within the first and second try.
-
Geez... He was easy on 34.... 32 really ?
-
We don't even use jail breaker. 3 found verdicts all the way
-
It's really not hard. I 2 personed it when it was 34 and 32. One person just looks for the eye and runs crowd while the other chips away at the bosses health. Also at 34 a fully upgraded invective breaks the shields without the buff.
-
I beat it with a rag tag group of friends who all even myself never even attempted qodron before. Wiped 3 times before establishing a good strategy. We had 1 a 32 warlock with self res be the eyes for the eyes we called it whos sole job was to scout out the eyes and lure them to his side and kill them when he "searches for a target". Number 2 man me decided assigned myself as crowd control a level 34 hunter with invisible abilities for escape and revives. 3 man was a 33 Titan with bubble, didn't own saint-14 just had a regular bubble for use. His job was dps of qodron using black hammer. I was the only person with gjally and generally used it in my job of crowd control. When our warlock gained jailbreaker we went to the middle close to the main door and he used a shotgun to blast away our shields. Again 3 wipes and we beat him fairly easy. The whole wave took 20 minutes from knowing nothing about the boss to glorious victory. What I say to all people who think these PoE bosses are impossible, strategy is key nothing more than that. Blindly unorganized spamming is why people can't best them.

Post patch actually made you work.. Guess that's a crime against bungie .-.
