Go to 2:13 in the video and tell me that this this didn't get pulled out of the game because of last gen hardware.
Seeing that it will most likely come at the end of the year, it's clearly going to be a dlc preparing people for "Destiny 2". The next Destiny is going to be current gen only so why not start sooner than later. Everyone knows last gen held Destiny back which basically ruined the game (even though I still love it) So to get ready for the next game I think they should start releasing content exclusively for current gen.

4 RisposteAnytime I read "Destiny 2" in a post looking forward to it's release I will reply with a "hell no". Destiny doesn't and will never (within this 10 year plan) require a sequel. Destiny needs to take a World of Warcraft approach. That's it... If they release a full second game in the traditional sense there will be tons of things from this game that will undoubtedly not be in part 2. Grow the game, don't segregate the content across different games. Not that anyone on these forums care but I'm sure Bungie does so I'll say this; if they release a sequel to this game in the traditional sense and don't grow the game like they have been up until now I'm out. Not with rage, not with bitterness, but I'll be done.

Can someone tell me what happens at 2:13, my internet is being a dick and not playing the video

10 RisposteModificato da higgybunch: 5/31/2015 1:50:49 PMThe Activision-Bungie contract clearly states Destiny and Destiny 2 along with all of its DLCs will be developed and sold for both current and last gen.

3 RisposteHow did last gen. "Hold Destiny back"? Of course they scaled down the game but is that Last Gen's fault? NO! It's Activision's Greedy ass.
-
1 RispondiCan we just talk about how thunderlords lack of recoil would have made it the most op gun in the game?
-
No I'm fine keep it for all

Why'd you have to show this..... I've forgotten about this E3 teaser. This was what the game was supposed to be...... in depth story line with separate stories from the Human, Awoken, and Exo point of views. A story of loyalty with the queen's brother deceiving us only to have him help us in the end by showing us how to get to the black garden. That all got scrapped. Not because of the old generation consoles. But because Bungie / Activision couldn't decide what they wanted to give their loyal customers. Activision will drive to gain as much profit as they possibly can. Look at the COD franchises as well as Skylander. They push the envelope to make as much profit as possible. If Bungie kept the story intact with the grimoire cards, then the expansions would have not been pushed as fast as they were. The Destiny game is pushing expansions just as fast as COD, which is sickening for an MMO. An expansion for an MMO is supposed to be a game within a game. We are simply getting guns and more gameplay, comparable to COD's guns and maps additions to their expansions. I tried to support the HoW's expansion for a while, but I'm nearly done. The expansion was simply put in place to support a failing PvP. Destiny was not supposed to be heavily PvP driven. Why did this change? Where is the in depth Co-op story Bungie is known for? Why must every FPS style game turn into a COD / Battlefield play style?

Dude Destiny 2 was already signed! It's last gen too!

The whole playable place... LIES

You are a moron, that is all. It's really a shame that you have to assign yourself some a sense of self worth based on your video game console. How sad your pathetic little life must be
-
Not everybody's mommy and daddy can blow 400 dollars on a console at the cry of a child.
-
I think it will be on old gen because it will be out before '16
-
Not much would have changed if Destiny left last-gen. You'd still have the boring old grind and the lack of balance. I can't imagine this original design of Destiny people want that was apparently "held back" by last-gen. The Destiny we have now was there during the E3 demo, Bungie just heavily manipulated our viewpoint of it.

Bump agreed

Modificato da Spoop: 5/31/2015 1:40:52 PMWe all payed 60 dollars for this game, so we all get the same content.
-
I don't totally agree here. Disclaimer: I play on PS4. Destiny was released for last and current gen. As such, any content updates or DLC should be available to all players who own the game, including last gen. So, the comet/taken king update should be available to all last gen players. Based on the leaked image that informed everybody about the Comet: Plague of Darkness update (before Taken King became a thing), DLC's 3&4 were also on the timeline. These should also be developed for last gen players, no question. But, last gen is what it is: last gen. We don't still receive new PS2 games, or NES games. I know some people can't afford it or find the time to save. But in the gaming world, as with all of technology, upgrades have to be made eventually and hardware goes end-of-life. Realistically, PS3/360 almost definitely do not have 10 more years of new games/content coming. By the time we see Destiny 2, last gen may or may not be end of life. If the industry as a whole still supports new releases for it, then we may see the sequel released on both generations. We can't know that for sure. But, at some point, last gen will no longer be supported and, for those players who play on PS3/360, the legend will have to continue only on current gen if they want to keep playing. When that happens, players on last gen will be furious, but will have to accept that technology advances, not lingers on the same forever.

The captain was holding the queenbreakers bow at the beginning
-
Modificato da WILLIAMHMcCARTY: 5/31/2015 12:05:24 PMI don't see that happening, at least not for Destiny. There is still a sizable chunk of 360/ps3 players out there, and as a for profit business it doesn't make sense to eliminate a good part of your potential profits. But don't worry last gen is fading, I doubt any games for them will be supported/released too much longer. My personal prediction is that day comes right about the holiday release schedule at the end of the year.

3 RisposteChild of my enemy, why have you come? I offer no forgiveness... a father's sins, passed to his son.
-
Time to drop last gen and also give current gen these updates to make the game as exciting as the one I was waiting a year to play
-
1 RispondiFor once I wouldn't mind, after playing the joke that is how For a full day, I went and bought a ps4 with the witcher! So I'm next gen ready haha finally!
-
Heads up! Destiny was originally designed and tested on Last Gen. It pushed Last Gen to the limit but was still entirely playable. That's all.

I remember watching that :\ destiny use to look soooooo amazing. It's still a good game. But for sure not what it use to be. I wish I wish I wish we could get what they showed back then. When fire team members join their ships drops them off. That's just really cool
