Go to 2:13 in the video and tell me that this this didn't get pulled out of the game because of last gen hardware.
Seeing that it will most likely come at the end of the year, it's clearly going to be a dlc preparing people for "Destiny 2". The next Destiny is going to be current gen only so why not start sooner than later. Everyone knows last gen held Destiny back which basically ruined the game (even though I still love it) So to get ready for the next game I think they should start releasing content exclusively for current gen.

they could of had a amazing game on any of the systems, hardware didnt hurt this game. The lackluster story writing, and repetitive nature did.

4 RisposteCurrent gen didn't ruin destiny, it was always going to be on current gen so bungie could get the extra money for it. Destiny 2 should be on next gen, but don't be mad at current gen for ruining this game when bungie was just catering for te majority of player who were on last gen. Dickhead

4 RisposteModificato da Commando Santos: 5/31/2015 6:31:54 PMI don't believe they should limite DLC to only next gen consoles, granted it would knock away a few issues with it's systems but not everyone can buy a new Xbox at the present time. The problem here is this: You guys already have your Xbox One's, you are thinking only from an Xbox One owners perspective. Put yourselves on an Xbox 360 user and ask why would someone not buy a new Xbox One??? It could be a merriad of reasons. Here's my case: Xbox One ONLY came out for my country last year, and I was eager to buy it... however it was released in the worst possible time for me because I got expenses that need covering (Housing, Education, etc). Had it come out at the same time for every country I would have bought it at the time. But no, instead it came out in a time where I have to manage my finances carefully. I'm sure many other people are stuck in this situation aswell as others who simply won't buy an Xbox One. Using the "he's broke" response is, if nothing, a cold and egocentrical way of thinking. For had you been in this same situation you wouldn't like to be cut out of something because of a system you use. That last part may have gotten out of topic but the point I'm establishing here is this: It's okay to want to see something you like grow... but suggesting something that will cut others for an amount of time does not help it grow. It may actually damage the product. My opinion: They should keep supporting both last gen and current gen until the next game comes out so at least everyone could enjoy it and have the time to buy a new console.

It's all playable...we could go there, but...I haven't got time to tell you why we can't go there.

What happened to this game? Hashtag Activision
-
destiny was designed on last gen hardware, that gameplay is on last gen hardware, the "comet" will still be on last gen hardware, but destiny 2 is being designed and will only be released on next gen hardware
-
2 RisposteDestiny was originally for last gen We should be grateful we were included There's no next gen games out yet so at least we have a decent game while we wait There's no rush to upgrade I play on Xbox one & PS4, day one, wish I'd waited
-
1 RispondiOh and actually the bungie activision contract states destiny 1 and its dlc / comet will be cross console Destiny 2 and its comet will be for xboxOne ps4 and 360 Its funny because ps3 is not mentioned... Makes me mad
-
If destiny was originally for last gen... And all the content was cut, it should be able to work for it... I downloaded destiny which was 58 gigs on my ps3... Which is massive for a game that only has like 4 tiny open world zones... And a couple pvp maps.. All this content is on our discs bungie just changes it a bit and adds new things. So dont say shit about last gen <3
-
An easier solution would be give the new gen consoles the extras and keep the less graphic intense 3d rendering away from last gen.. everyone wins.. why exclude content when its a graphics/memory loading restriction only..

1 RispondiModificato da Morningstar: 5/31/2015 9:01:30 PMHeres what you do with your opinion... Grab your opinion firmly in your hands.. Firmly grasp it... Move it in a counter clock wise motion around you're back, bend your self over 180 degrees downward, Once you are in this position, move your dumbshit opinion near you're lower part if you're body, as science likes to call it your, ahem "anus" ... Once it is positioned right over youre anus.... Insert your opinion into your anus.. End of instructions
i mean no h8
That would mean we'd have to wait for PS5 to play this DLC
-
Better be able to carry over characters in some manner, then, if they did do character continuation. Otherwise, I'm going to have a LOT of lost progress. They could do it just like Rockstar did for GTA Online when it was released for PC and next-gen.
-
4 RisposteThe content expansion we are receiving has already been made for last gen, DLCs are generally almost if not completed before the games release, we do not know if Destiny 2 is current gen only, I hope it is, but we don't know.
-
As much as I want it to be, Taken King and the two DLC packs that follow it will 99% be on old and current gen consoles. Destiny 2 will most likely be current gen only, so only one more year left.
-
Destiny supports 360 and PS3. If you think this is going to change and they're just going to all of a sudden drop last gen then you're sadly mistaken.

8 RisposteYou must be too young to understand business. Why would you completely ignore a large consumer base that is last generation console users and only have a game come out for current gen? There is still a large chunk of people on ps3/360. Alot of money in there. Common sense dictates: Have it offered to both for maximum $$$. Use your head man. They don't care, they just want profit. It was a smart move on their part and until they are sure that 90% of players are on the current gen, they will continue to support last gen. It's that simple. Personally, I have absolutely no reason to buy a Ps4 at the moment. I can play the games I want to play on my console with my friends. Why would I buy a ps4 when the majority of my friends also agree that until last gen stops being supported there is no reason to upgrade. I could buy one at anytime, I just don't see the point at the moment. All I play is Destiny with my friends. I don't need a ps4 for that. Just my thoughts.

That video. All lies.

You do realize destiny was supposed to be for last ten only? I'm on next generation and I'm at least happy we have it

I love these posts cx people don't have the knowledge that next gen consoles weren't even supposed to get destiny at first cx so they had to tear what they built for last gen to accommodate next gen cx
-
Not the taken king but destiny 2 sure I play destiny on a ps3 Also have an xbox one so yeah lol
