I swear Bungie's pathetic key system has me ready to shelf this game.
I don't see myself playing HoW much longer. I'm a big fan and defender of Destiny but this absurd treasure key system is too much. I have farmed ether chests, farmed the PoE, did my bounties, etc and have found a total of ZERO keys. I have opened one total big chest and it's starting to feel as if I'm wasting my time.
I know some people are getting keys and I'm happy for you. But I'm seriously tired of wasting my time. Sorry, I just needed to vent.

I agree this key system needs to go I hate farming for an hour and not being guaranteed at least one key

2 things. Most of the rewards in the chests are garbage anyway so don't sweat it. 2, you must be doing something wrong. When I was farming I had an average of 3 per character. I usually got one key per 10-12 chests. Your guaranteed 1 per week from turning in the full set of bounties to Petra.

the big chest is useless, queen weapons suck and the exotic drop chance is clearly not that high after your first time, so don't sweat it, when you happen to get them use them but there's no point in grinding for them it appears

Try lv28 PoE.. Higher chance for keys. And exotic. Monte Carlo dropped for me, from little chest

Makes me lol when I see people saying they're leaving because of: Error codes Key farming No pve social space Noobs easy levelling No Gally Heaven forbid you have to work hard or don't get what you want in the real world.

Also, there is a higher drop rate by just playing 28 PoE and opening the small side chests. I can confirm this.

This was in the update and they are increasing the drop rate in the next patch.

The keys are mostly a waste of time anyway. Besides that first exotic, all of the good rewards are the guaranteed drops

12 RisposteI'm tired of hearing this whining. If you dumb asses whiners would stop opening that worthless chest every time and realize that you can just save your keys you wouldn't be experiencing those problems.

I do the bounties if i get a key fine if not no big D. Not crazy about queens weps anyway. Just grabbing cores and Elight

All three gave me crappy queens weapons and two exotics. If it's exotics you want just go do your raids and nightfalls. don't waste time farming for keys, I never did. It's a chore and a pain in the ass to do patrol. I only do it to level up gear.

5 RisposteYou do not have to have keys. The only thing they are good for is the exotic the first time you open a PoE chest, and for the level 35 chest. Honestly I have just stopped farming for keys. Every one I've ever used after the first just gets me some crappy Queen's gun.

Agreed. I was farming for about 7 hours the other day and got ONE key! one poxy key! I believe you should be able to exchange one of each token for one key at Variks or something....giving out tokens like theyre skittles but noone is that high up in rank yet to use them!!

If you did all of the story missions and Petra's bounties last week, you would have received 1 key per character. I found one from farming ether chests before HoW dropped, earned 3 more (from my 3 characters), and had one key drop when I opened the big chest last night. I've used 2 keys and still have 3 in the vault.
