I agree that each cloak would benefit nicely from having at the least a mod to it that at the least, separates them (those that are exactly the same by design, apart from the color differences) from one another. But, I do think that the design for each and all actually, are much, much better than the predecessor cloaks previously available. I mean, the FWC cloak is actually not tacky like the original ones. The NM is better, even though you may not notice it is what it is, unless you had checked them out already. But bro, that Dead Orbit cloak? Yo! That sh*t is mad sweet, you gotta admit it. I won't get a hang up on recycled designs via boots and all for some new vendor gear. Like how the Radiant Dance Machines were almost exactly (minus the boot guard) as the IB pants. Not sure how it was for Titans & Warlocks, never really paid attention. But even the first set of pants that were orange (couple of the different orange ones, actually) you get at the beginning of the game 262 days 8 hours & 45 mins (roughly, but who's counting;) ago, were the same as the IB/RDM pants. And I LOVE the IB "Rockstar" pants. Bungie has a lot they've been doing as of late, and I won't pester them for small things like not differentiating my pants and cloaks. The overhaul on so many, many, mucho~many issues/things/stuff have been well done and appreciated, by me certainly. It's a giant leap in the right direction. We can easily forget that anything we will see months ahead are constructed in advance. When we get our hands on it, it's not new yo them add that developing new content, fixing or tweaking newly launched content, pre-existing content beginning to be affected by newly made data and having to reverse engineer it to fix it, all the while this ship is live and in motion every iota of the day... Well, it's an elephant snowballing down a hill with rockets strapped to its @ss. And that's some kinda thing that's pretty hard to get to stop for a second let alone long enough to fix all its problems. (Besides, I'd guess a rocket, down hill, snowballing, @ss chaffed elephant would believe it has little or no problems other than either not understanding English as it zooms past us meat stick, human people.) {coincidentally, I just woke up and my meds are just kickin in, so...:}. And the only issues with shaders, other than the newly available and decently distributed quantity (thx Bungie!) not included, are that the drops from playlists and vendor rank ups (for most, I'm sure not for all) are almost non existent other than the 369th Beowulf/Achilles types. And my "itty bitty not really bothering me much but will say it anyway peeve", is that I was really kinda wanting to see (but didn't at all expect, just mentioning for posterity, and not too upset about, I understand and am grateful for the hard work everywhere else) was the Speaker and the Outfitter having a few additions put in their cycle. A few new cloaks, maybe to match the emblems he sells that the only perks they have is to get Rick Rolled when reading a post from the past on how they have video proof they work,lol. (Anyone remember them?!lol!) and for the record, a Traveler cloak would kinda be cool. But apologies for the Wall O' Text... Like I said, meds kicked in... ps. FREE B ROBOT

Yeah they suck. I also don't like that exotics don't change with shaders. Really limits your choices unless you just don't care about your armor matching.

Yeah I don't really like any of them lol I think we need some good short cloaks. Like something that goes over the shoulder. All I wear is the original dead orbit stuff. Can't stand these long floor length/dirty things we are getting.

Trials cloak or bust

I agree. I hate the raggedy-assed design choices that are made in this game. It's okay if the design is somehow incorporated into the gear, but the 'ripped and torn' look always rings of 'afterthought'.

Faction cloaks are too boxy and ripped and the Vanguard armor looks like it was splashed with engine oil. We look like we are dirty and homeless. I made it a point to store my old Dead Orbit ninja scarf when I saw what the new faction cloaks looked like.

I like the hunter cloaks, but for me, a burned cloak is like a defeated house, a broken house, which is ok, but i would love to have the cloaks from all the houses intact, without any damage, like the kell hunter hood from the prision of elders, but just with the option that you can choose the fallen house, which means with different emblems and colors. I hate that the warlocks get the house of wolves class item in blue color, but the hunters can not get it in blue
