Petition to ban thorn from trials.
Something has to be done. I can't take it anymore. Just lost at 8-0 to a full team of thorns. Couldn't do a thing using red death. Crucible is broken with that gun in it

Of course I have thorn equipped because it's all you can use in crucible if even one kid is using it. The only way to counter it is use it

Just to settle some confusion, this wasn't my first run, I had already went 9-0 on my Hunter and was doing the second run on my warlock.

Here's how you take care of thorn bungie:
Take out the mark of the devourer perk in crucible. It makes no sense that one body shot takes me to red.
And here's why it wouldn't need any further damage nerfs:
If you can hit two head shots on me, kudos, you killed me. But here's the thing, my play style? Your not going to. I'm going to blink shotty you lol. That's why tlw isn't annoying. Because it can't kill me unless I'm not moving.

First of all, now that I have you alls attention on this topic, at least 60% of you that commented on this are probably under the age of about 16, Am I right? Ok. So i know you all are immature, so I can understand your ignorance for that, and I forgive you. Second, about 95% of you that took your time out of your day to comment and hate are kids (or adults) that's use thorn at least 90% of the time. Am I right? Ok so, why are you defending thorn? Huh? Honestly tell me. Why do you feel the need to say I'm bad (lmao) because I don't want one gun to be superior to every play style? I just don't understand it. Please make me understand. Because I want a game that takes actual skill to play. I want you to be able to counter my rushing play style without the best weapon.

It is very true, when people want to win the most obvious thing to do is use the gun. So when one person uses it you have find a gun of equivalent strength to kill that person. As a result the only way to counter this gun is the gun itself.

Their ttk is ridiculously faster than all other guns and rivals heavy machine guns, this make no sense at all

It stands to reason that if you use thorn, you will defend people using it, so that part of your argument is an obvious statement of fact. As for why we use it, part of the reason it really upsets people, like you kicked their dog or something, which shows their immaturity, not ours. Another reason, at least for me, is that it has sights that are pretty kick ass. They're by far my favorite. And the high impact of the handcannon class in general makes most of them worth using.

I played a few games on a team full of thorns, and we lost some of our matches. I also played against teams of thorn, and won.

3 words- Mida Multitool. That thing was almost specifically designed to combat thorn. High rate of fire that knocks aim off easily... thorn fires slowly and almost requires careful aim to hit a headshot. The extra agility lets you strafe the thorn and it will safely hit the wall behind you. I use thorn in trials until I see Mida-Multitool. Then I switch to Mida. And I know this because I main Thorn on one character and Mida on the other.

Having faced several teams full of thorns (and one of THL) and winning while using red death, I've learned it's not entirely the skill of the player using whatever weapon is being cried over, it's the skill of the team. If your team acts as one instead of three individuals you'll have a better chance against any set up. If you think the gun is unbeatable then just quit as soon as you see someone has it. P.S. I'm horrible in crucible.
