Be aware: Most people will lose in the Trials of Osiris!
The fact, that you need 9 wins and must not lose 3 times out of 12 leads to the fact, that more than 75% of all players won't make it till the end and will not get the (best) reward!
[b]Please note: The numbers are not exact, but for the matter of keeping it simple and comprehensible, they are sufficient. Considering the facts of the possibility for reentering the Trials after three losses and the buffs from Vance is much more complicated, but does not help much.[/b]
I just wanted to inform you of upcoming events and maybe you think about this before starting a rant in the forums.
If you lose the ToO you're part of the majority!
[b]edit:[/b] Correct me, if I'm wrong, but this was far easier, than expected.
At my first try with two randoms, we had a lose streak of three. You can get another Trials Passage without problems and start an new try.
I played some Skirmish for time killing and played with two other guys, who thought "he is not doing to bad, let's contact him". Afterwards we tried the Trials and had a 9:1 run, the one being a loss where two of us were disconnected from game, so technically we had a 9:0 run, which brought me to level 34.
I expected more struggling and for all people who are struggling with it:
Play later in the week. At the beginning all the good teams are playing, but by time, they will have their winnings and stop playing it, so it will become easier by time.

Half the trouble is your opponents are matched based on your connection and nothing to do with your skill level. You could get a lucky run through and have a worse/ average team or get a group of tightly orchestrated harbingers of death!! That pull your pants down and steal your lunch money (can you tell which I ran into today? ) lol

4 RisposteI agree. Given the fact that in most normal pvp matches only the top 2 or 3 players got a good k/d and the rest of all the players are terrible i see no different for ToO. Too bad the most unique rewards in the game currently are only available to 1% of the entire player base. This is even worse than raids.

If you use all three modifiers, you can go "9-0" by actually going 7-1 or better. I don't think it will be that hard.

I'm solid at crucible but I'm a control player. I haven't played much skirmish but I'm pretty confident I can get 4 wins with the extra win buff to get that chest piece

ToO a mode designed for competitive PvP players that's not balanced? You messed it up bungie. Your game is too much of a grind, doesn't have enough weapons or armour, is full of recycled repetitive content. A development team who created one of the most balanced PvP games in history with halo have lost their way. Should have called destiny groundhog day because that's what it is in the end. Carrot on a string technique with a frustrating loot system.

28 RisposteI think, it could be easier for me as it's no rush in kill fast fight. More a checking, waiting, striking kind of thing. Much more my thing :-) but as I'm not that great in pvp, I don't get my hopes up too much!!

2 RisposteI don't think so. The elite players are so few and far between. Everyone will be trying this. My chances of going up against an "ok" team outweigh my chances of going up against an "MLG Pro" team by a lot. If those buffs stack, only need 3 wins vs 4 losses to get the armor piece. Not that hard.
