House of Wolves has brought back the worst aspect of Destiny.
Grinding is one thing, standing around for 10 minutes waiting for "wolves" ships to spawn is not grinding, it's a complete and utter waste of time. It makes me not want to play the game knowing that if I want to keep up with everyone, I am forced to stand around for 10 minute increments hours on end just to have a slim chance at getting a key so the end game is not a complete waste of time. What a nightmare.
Edit: Keep the "no one forces you to play Destiny" comments coming. I am building quite a list of muted basement trolls.
Edit 2: Bungie fixed it with today's update. To all the negative posters, shove it!

As long as we're guaranteed one every week without farming those public events I'm ok with it. Don't have time to waste standing around for 10minutes starring at a screen for that message to pop up

Its boring so I just dont do it. We get enough free keys that its more loot by far than any raid. As long as I keep that in mind it doesnt bother me

All these half ass excuses that make no justifiable points as to why it is ok for you to grind keys in such a manner to play a game? If this was intended then BUNGIE must have anticipated retards following by the masses and doing anything they say because "NEW"

It's convenient when you got a life outside Destiny. Like do increments of your hw that you usually never may do or read a book. I usually just take turns killing the wolves with my girlfriend (yea she's a gamer too cha ching :).)

You dont have to wait around for those to get a key. Theres a chance to get one from the chests at the end of each PoE run. So, you know, you can just blast shit until you got to those chests By the way, as far as i can tell that big chest doesnt drop anything special. Just queens wrath legendaries and exotics. And only time will tell if the queens weapons are worth getting

You could simply run the Prison of Elders on higher difficulties to get more chances at gear, and do that once per week on each of your characters. This eliminates the "grinding" feel, as you aren't trying to farm anything - just playing through content. But I must state the following: Firstly, you don't need to "keep up with anyone." Destiny is not a race. Secondly, no one forces you to farm the keys - you want to do that yourself so that you get more chances at gear. Best of luck in your future endeavors, Muted for complaining and disrespect towards other guardians. May you be rewarded with many ascendant shards.

I agree. That is absolutely no fun and I actually dread thinking about doing it. I hate waiting around or trying to find specific places It's ridiculous. I enjoyed the hive bounties more

We'll see at the reset, by from what I've heard, you get one free key per reset per character. That's three guaranteed exotics per week. Seems fair if not overly easy to me.

I like the DLC but i hate freakin farming keys. Ive been in patrol 5 hours and i have yet to get a single key while randoms get em left and right -_-

Play PoE lvl 28, done it 4 times got 3 keys and 3 exotics.

Just run 28 PoE, you have just as much of a chance for a key in those chests as you do with the Ether chests, plus you get PoE rep.

1 Rispondistart vog, go to the ember caves and citadel from there, when one starts, finish it, and five people go to the next section while one holds anchor in the previous. you can farm ridiculously fast this way. And be kind to people.

The keys won't get you good gear. Uou only get old ecotic weapons and poe or queens weapons. Farming keys is a waste of time.

You dont need the keys. You can do it all with the ppl on the reef. Keys just make it faster thats all and some of the guns that come outa it just wow

Why can't we just summon the Wolves? Use the same insult the Silent Fang leader threw at us and piss them off. That way we wouldn't have to wait... Just walk up to a comms array and hold X/square.
